Not only is this the worst clinic, but this doctor is terrible. He only stays in the office for less than 2 minutes. Gives no helpful information and does not answer questions. He gave me the WRONG surgery that put me in the ER because the medication he gave me caused seizures. When I followed up with my old preferred OB/GYN today, he explained that Dr. Almendarez wrongly diagnosed me with Endometriosis and didn’t even examine my ovaries during the surgery, like he agreed to do.

I've been seeing Dr. Almandarez for 13 years. He has worked with me throughout my battle with Endometriosis. I've gone through multiple surgeries. He is the best doctor/surgeon I've ever worked with. He is the only one who made me feel like it was a team effort instead of a surgeon seeing a patient. He is now with Acacia. The staff there is very personable.

Amazing at his job. He is the ONLY reason I have my little angel today. This was the first Dr. to listen to me and care about my pain. If it wasn't for him I would have been forced to have a hysterectomy at age 22. I would have never got to live my life for I woulfld have been in so much pain. Before him I spent my free time in my bed wadded up in a ball! I have a wonderful intimate relationship with my husband that I could not have had I'd Dr Al hadn't saved me. He is an amazing surgeon! He has performed at least 8 surgeries on me and ice never had a complaint on his work! If you have endometriosis he is your go to! I easily had to move out of state, I cry till this day when I think of him no longer being able to treat me. I drove 9 hrs back to him just to have him perform one last surgery on me so I would be "cleaned out" till I can find I local OBGYN. He will work with you in anyway you want your treatment to go. If you're willing to try an unconventional path of treatment he will do it if it is logical and does not hold a risk of harm. He is DEFINITELY Not set in his ways like most doctors are, he will give a treatment a try to benefit the patient. I am o e of those patients with several major medical problems with limited my treatment options but he always came through with a solution and I'd it wasn't meant I wanted he's find a way to alter it. Plus one time I told him a proposition of a possible treatment plan that was just a proposition of logic and hypothedizing he was on board with guiding me and overseeing me in it. He had never done things that way before but was willing to try for me. He treated me as an equal, never like I was inferior because he was a doctor and knew more than I do. With him you are in it together with him on you care! He will go above and beyond for his patients! There was a mix up in scheduling and he came and did my section on his lunch break so that my family could be there and not reschedule their trip into town for my child's birth.

Please read. Dr. Almendarez is not my girlfriends usual OBGYN, but was the doctor on call when she went into labor. The nurse had left several messages for him to go to the hospital to deliver a baby. He took his time and as soon as he arrived in the delivery room you could see the frustration in his face, and the atmosphere went from supportive to demanding. He was very rude, and impatient that led him to leave a 2nd degreee cut that spanned from the front of her body to the rear (I was not allowed to use the actual words for the midsection) . The nurses confirmed that it was unnecessary for the size of the cut. While applying stitches to the damaged area, he was very rough and rushed that he tore the suture and had to start over. After he was done we hardly got a word from him and he was out of the room before we knew it. Dr. Almendarez was not caring, and was focused on getting back home to rest because he would be off call an hour later. Active labor only lasted twenty minutes and the cuts could've been avoided if he would've had some patience and let the delivery be natural. I will not be recommending him to anyone.

I have been sering him since I was 17 and he ha's always been really helpful, I have endometriosis and I have had surgeries for it an some other issues, an he has always been really good at answering any questions an helping me find the right birth control, I used to have unbearable cycles an he has truly helped relieve a lot of pain and discomfort, I used to have another doctor before him an she told me that I was just not used to having cramps and got frustrated when I told her that the birth control I was on was not working for me, and that's when I switched to him, and have been seeing him for almost 6 years , I trust him completely an he has never been unprofessional or rude, always helpful

Really like how its an in and out on every appointment. But when it comes to question, i really don't feel comfortable since he seems to always be on the run. He doesn't give you a number for after hours. Just tells you to go to hospital if anything.

I was recommended by a co- worker and glad i switched to him. He is awesome. He takes his time with me and is very patient to answer all my concerns. It doesn't matter what insurance i have, he still treats me with respect. I had a hysterectomy and another surgery after that to remove other non-cancerous tumors and Both times i was treated very well and had a great recovery. When i go to my appts i never wait long. I totally recommend this Dr to snyone i know or to anyone in general. Great doctor!
