Now she is moved to Toronto. She is no better. The receptionist is quite rude and the appointments are never on time. Got referred thru urgent clinic and this is terrible experience. Came here to increase my pain.

She is the worst Doctor that I ever encounter. She has no respect for her patient. She will not listen to unless is a direct answer the she wants to hear. With an hour and half waiting, she goes through a set of standard questions and 5 min of exam and sends me to the lab and x-ray. Before any results, she already concluded that I have Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia, Flat foot, and an off center spine. Her want to prescribe Orthotic insert. I wonder why. I told her that I have many pairs for different applications. Don’t waste your time with time with her. My opinion is, she is not good doctor that puts patient first. I only see her one time, I can’t command on her knowledge. But whatever she told me is nothing more then any web selftest.

I waited a LONG time to see Dr.Kanji, and I found her to be VERY HELPFUL and knowledgeable! She helped me VERY much and I miss seeing her :-( No Narcotics given to me for my PAIN..But she did do her best to help me and understood where I was coming from! Her secretary was quite RUDE and after several requests from my family doctor for my diagnosises..We still DIDNT get them :-( Thats not r Kanjis fault but her secretary SUCKS (Or did in Sudbury!) I see she has moved so I guess its Toronto to see her next time! I MISS HER!!

I too waited over a year to see her. i dont mind the wait in the office i usually phone to see how far behind she is- i figured that late meant ultra thorough-i couldnt have been more wrong she told me i had fibro- and chronic fatigue, she sent me for tests, brought me back told me i have nerve damage in my foot which i knew, my shoulders and knees are detriorating, and sent me for blood work- she did not addrress my fibro or CFS gave me a physio prescription- called me back said i was anemic and told me she was moving- and referred me back to the walk in clinic that referred me to her- she has zero bedside manner and is inaffective if she doesnt help you out not just give you results.

I have been with Dr Kanji for 3-4 years and she has never been on time for anything. I have had 3 hr wait times. I live i.5 hrs away and then the wait time adds to stiffness and pain. Her office is cramped and disorganized. I too get a precription handed to me and see you in six months. I received a call two days ago and was informed that she has moved her practice to Toronto. so I have an apt. with her on 2 Mar 11. Don't know what is happening. Where are we supposed to go, and why were we not told of the impending move. Bad form and unprofessional for a specialist.

I have been seeing Dr. Kanji for many years, unfortunately there are no other doctors of this kind in our area so I must continue to go sit in her messy office waiting hours to see her and then she rushes you out. when scheduling my next appt. the secretary gave me the appt. for 9:15 and wrote on the card to come at 9:45 because the dr. is always late. is that right!!! the doctor herself doesn't even listen to what you say, just writes out a perscription and sends you on your way. She has not physically touched me to see if my joints are ok in many years. not impressed with this doctor at all

I waited four hours in her office. She told me I did not have Rheumatoid Arthritis, even though my very exceptionally competent GP and former rheumatologist knew it. My test results show swelling. Since seeing her, my hands have swollen up so badly it hurts to type. My feet hurt to walk on, and I can't fit into any shoes I bought just before Christmas. I am scheduled to see her at the end of February, and I am the first appointment of the day so I won't have to wait...but from what I read, she won't even be there on time. Maybe I should charge her for the money I lose missing work? I had a very good rheumatologist in dr. collins, and you know? busing to toronto, then to orillia, then back to toronto, then back to sudbury...doesn't seem like much of a waste after dealing with Kanji. At least he's probably got a real licence.

I was very upset when I had to wait for hours on end for a 5 minute consultation. Her office was discusting. I was very uncomfortable in that environment. We deserve better care. Just because we're from the north doesn't mean we should settle for a lot less.

I have been seeing Kanji for 9 years, at the beginning she was helpful and seemed to want to help, now I wait 2 hours and spend 5 min in her office, she dismisses any new symptoms and refers me to my GP. One time she sent me for a full xray work up and the secretary lost my results, I find the organization to be extremely poor. I sat on an xray table for 2 hours to get these important tests done and they lost them. I have been back 2 times since then and they still have not found the test results. I try very hard to avoid the visits at all costs and am trying alternative methods to find pain relief. Sudbury should recruit more rhumetologists to help those of us who are in dire need.
