You may not see Dr.Cobean - I was told cutting down on his hours - but also Dr.Kincaid and Dr.Arsennalt there. Up to date testing equipment. Good selection of frames. Small waiting area but don't have to wait long.... Front staff very pleasant and helpful as are doctors.

This rating is for DR.KINCAID. The office is open and being kept germ free for visiting patients and for we with eye issues not only seeking new eyeglasses, it's appreciated. Dr.Cobean also has a partner, Dr.Kincaid but can't find a review site for her. She is so pleasant, explains the tests before and after and never appears rushed. The staff are always polite and helpful no matter which optometrist you are seeing. Up to date testing equipment. Centrally located with lots of parking. Thank you all.

i find Dr Cobean very knowledgeable and understanding. I find certain staff are less helpful when they realize you cannot afford to purchase your glasses from them. I wish i could afford to ssee him more regularĺy

I called to book an appointment today as a new patient. The secretary stated that they are only seeing patients between the ages of 20 to 60. Cost $240.00. I asked why someone over age 60 could not be booked and the answer was “ they are considered high risk for COVD”. Sounds unethical.

I left the review dated January 31, 2020. Since then, Dr. Cobean reached out to me to make things right and I would like to update my review to reflect that.
Dr. Cobean took the time to address all of my concerns and saw me at the office within a few days of our conversation.
Dr. Cobean and his staff went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that my eye concerns were addressed during my appointment. My appointment was very thorough and every test was explained to me prior to being done. The staff were kind, professional and they answered all of my questions.
I left feeling really grateful that Dr. Cobean reached out and that I returned to Eyes Associates of North Bay. Thank you Dr. Cobean.
I went back to the office to purchase a new pair of glasses a few days later. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me choose the perfect frame. (Special thanks to Jenn!)

Staff has been excellent and have seen both Dr.Cobean and Dr.Kincaid.. it is a busy place. Must admit with all the good reviews here, to read the two star rating recently posted was a shock. The treatment described is so opposite of what I have experienced...maybe your family doctor could get involved... its horrible when appointments get cancelled and the wait seems so long when we are worried about our bodies, especially eyes.. hope you can get some help soon or maybe a referral to an ophthalmologist....best of luck to you.
Just got my new eyeglasses and very happy with them.

Been here for a few yers now and am recommending my family switch to him. He is really up to date on recognition and treatment of serious eye conditions without scaring you about the diagnosis; also he and staff are very patient and kind to those of us who have multiple other issues to deal with. Some tests etc have to be paid for, so perhaps ask and advise on your finances, but this is the same in many offices these days. Good selection of eyeframes too! The tone of the office is upbeat and professional!
