I do not think this doctor enjoys working with patients and would not recommend her to anyone. If you have a problem with a medication she prescribed or one that she thinks you should be on after blood work, she will not discuss this over the phone. You have to make another appointment. If you call her regarding the effects a medicine she prescribed is having, she will have her assistant talk to you. She always has her assistant talk for her, even to the point of putting you on hold while the assistant asks the doctor your question. Otherwise, you have to make another appointment to see her even though it might be less than a week since the last time. I went to this doctor because our insurance changed to BCN and she was the only one in our old office that accepted it. It's a shame you have to change doctors just because of insurance requirements. Not because you want to.

Dr Leon has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been seeing her for about five years. My daughter also thinks she is great. She listens and doesn't make the patient feel rushed. The staff is busy but attentive and my appointments are usually on-time.

Dr. Leon is the PCP for me and my husband. She takes time for both of us and is always up to date on current practice. I trust her implicitly and feel a that she has our best interest at heart. Her staff is always friendly and their after hours clinic in Ann Arbor is extremely convenient for the unexpected.

I think she is by far one of the worst dr. i have ever had. actually the whole cherry hill building has nothing but terrible dr. i pulled my kids from peds there and went to plymouth. dr. leon is ALWAYS in meeting and can NEVER review paper work on time. she makes u feel like your wasting her time. and mis diagnosed a blood clot in my leg. she should not be allowed to deal with life or death situations. i would trust kavorkian before i ever let this women near me again. oh and she doesnt read paper work her idiot nurses skim through and then call and ask stupid questions..

I have been with Dr. Leon for at least three years now. Being a woman I prefer a female Dr. I am comfortable talking with her and she is kind and shows concern. I think most offices these days are just over flowing with patients. I understand that I am not her only patient, she has shown care every time I have been with her. I wish I could say that about all the doctors at her practice. Some, shall I say are more polite than others.

Dr. Leon has been my doctor since I moved to Michigan. Unfortunately, her practice grew at the IHA office and my one-on-one time with her faded drastically. I felt that I had developed a patient - doctor relationship supported by trust. However, as time went on, the trust became a distant memory as I was deferred to be seen by other doctor affiliates within the IHA practice. She was considered my primary care physician and was deemed with this title. I expected her to understand all my health ailments and guide my health needs for the betterment. My last visit with Dr. Leon ended poorly since the Nurse Practicioner mis-diagnosed my strep throat ailment, prolonging my illness. I called Dr. Leon to ask for an antibiotic that worked with my body, since the staff conveniently missed the important fact that penicillin does not work with my body. The personal attention melted and there was no point in going back to this office to seek any type of personal attention.
