Fantastic doctor. I have been his patient ever since I was a kid and have never had anything but a pleasant experience. He treats you warmly and generally cares. He would ask about my family and how school was going, which I found impressive considering the number of patients he has. His sense of humour makes any visit a pleasant one. His receptionist staff (Caroline and Sherry) are great! They are so friendly and helpful.

Dr. Leckie always listens to parental concerns and values a parent's opinion. He always paid attention to any research we had done. His primary focus is the patient and is always eager to look into something if he is not sure about it.

Unfortunately Dr. Lecke is not my doctor, I so wish he was. I did experience his type of care when he was working in the ER and I was very impressed by his attitude and caring manner. He was also very knowledgeable which was/is very important to me and my family. I did not make it in time to become one of his patients when he opened his own practice. He is very straightforward and talks to you NOT at you and not down at you. Other doctors should take lessons on how to have a good bedside manner. He is a very rare doctor indeed.

Dr. Mike has been my doctor about 15-20 years.He has always been a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I had a stroke 6 years ago and he came to the hospital as soon as the nurses called him. Four years ago my father was diagnosed at emergency with a brain tomor. He came to the hospital immediately. 3 years later He arrived at my parent's apartment as my dad lay dying to see how he was doing and to reassure my mom.Not too many doctors know adays make house calls. Dr. Leckie has been my family physician now for about 22 years. I moved to Sudbury for college in 1999. I have gone to some of the Dr. here and none of them even compare to Dr. Leckie. I have travelled to North Bay ever since for my appt with him. I must say that he also has a great staff and team. Dr. Leckie you are a amazing Doctor.
