Dr. Leckie was never my "Family Physician" per sae, but I did see him in Emerge @ St. Joes" in the Eighties for a broken right clavicle...a real nice guy, great bedside manner...a good doctor all around.

Had to rate to comment. How very very fortunate all his patients are to have him and there are other very good doctors here, but have some sympathy for those whose doctors are not half as helpful or knowledgeable, and for those of us who for one reason or another are and have been waiting for years for a family doctor and there is NO clinic we can go to to see a dr "in person" any more unless a patient of a dr. at blue sky. Its sit in emerge for hours and hours (not complaining, its emerge) or thankfully can use a teleconference clinic, which is a lifesaver. Count your blessings! Gonna be some very unhappy doctorless people when Dr.L. retires... that's for sure!

I loved my visit with Dr. Leckie! He was so kind, empathetic, educational, intelligent and has a great sense of humour. By far the best doctor I’ve ever had!

I like Dr. Leckie...and that's odd, because I despise most family doctors. WalMart pharmacy didn't do their job right, telling the doctor the wrong information, resulting in my getting barred from the Northgate Square Clinic for no reason that would be considered a...um, reason. Paying for someone else's incompetence again.

Dr. Mike Leckie is an amazing man I miss him terribly. I have lived in southern Ontario now for many years and I compare all doctors to him. I have had a few come relatively close but they were specialists, what I wouldn’t do to have Mike again. I’m in health care, I work with a doctor that is like Mike but, I’m not comfortable with him seeing everything I own. I also want to give Mike a shout out, too for his work in end of life, you could get no better doctor for this Palliative care, he’s so knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and will handle the patient in the most dignified way at the end of life! Way to go Mike! North Bay is Blessed to have you! My parents still have Mike and love him!

Dr. Leckie SAVED MY LIFE. That combined with his compassion & wonderful personality....you WILL NOT find any better. Just a super personable down to earth guy. Don't hate me for this Mike but since we're about the same age, I hope you work till your 90. (chuckle)

Do you notice the reviews of Dr, Mike Leckie? Not ten horrible ones by actual patients and the 7 outstanding reviews by her staff and lovers, no, all 4 or 5 stars each review...you wanna know why? Because Dr. Leckie gives a rat's gluteus maximus, the plastic ones (cough Wendy cough cough Greyhim gag puke) do not. The proof is in the pudding so to speak.

I was Dr. Leckie's patient for many years but moved down south. I am at a loss. I can't find a doctor. Dr. Leckie is the most honest, caring, professional doctor I have ever met. He listens to what a person has to say & helps in any way he can . I don't think I'll ever find another doctor like him. Thank you Dr. Leckie

Dr. Leckie is awesome ! He is incredibly smart and personable. You don’t feel rushed with him. He took the time to further educate me!
