Worst experience ever. Dr Chu has changed. He doesn't care anymore. He was rude. The visit scheduled was supposed to be a follow up on my test results. When he came in, he said he can't see me anymore because he was changing what he was specializing in. Told me I didn't have Alzheimer's from where he previously diagnosed me with it. Gave me the name of new doctor to go to. Then I asked about my test results that he was supposed to be going over with me and he looked down and said I don't have them and turned around and walked out. Nurse walked in 2 minutes later and said it looked fine. Told by staff previously that there was something wrong with the test result and needed to be discussed with the doctor. Rude, very unprofessional and horrible "bedside" manner. Do not recommend him at all!!!!

After seeing another neurologist, who has blown Dr. Chu out of the water. I now know his office was all about nothing. I had a test I didn't need, one that was not even normally done for a person who had migraines. If he did do the test for another condition I did have, it was a condition he did not even treat me for. The first thing my new neurologist questioned me was, why did he do this test and my answer was for the migraines', he said its not usually done for migraines ????? Let's get to his staff. Wow, only word for it, useless. Right down to his office manager, who only became useful, when I made 2 appointments I didn't need in order to get things I did need done. Oh and let's rate his insurance person, who also never calls back. This one even speaks to you, tells you she will call your insurance company and straighten out ICD-9 and diagnosis codes and then lies to your face right in front of the Dr. and tells you she never spoke to you. Went 1 year without getting new CPAP supplies, because I could not get call backs from his staff. Went 3 months without medication, because I couldn't get call backs from his nurse to get RX refills. Thanks so much for the weeks and weeks of migraines that I didn't have to have. Went off a medication because I was so sick from it and couldn't get a call back about it. Had to make an appointment to go into the office and see him which I couldn't get for 6 weeks, another problem, even if you having a problem, they do not do anything to accommodate getting you into see the doctor sooner. Only thing I can say is thank God they were so bad, because I did find the best neurologist in Houston because of it and go to him and NOT Dr. CHU and don't have to deal with Dr. Chu's office staff anymore.

I love Dr. Chu! He was finally able to tell me why my right butt and leg was paining me terribly, even tho I go to a pain specialist. He tested me on the EMG with a series of pin-pricks (not painful!) and told me with rest for 6 weeks and perhaps a shot in my butt by my pain doctor I should be cured. I was forced to use a cane to walk because of the pain but hope I won't need it much longer. He is very friendly and smiles a lot. His staff at both offices were kind and courteous. I recommend him highly!

Doctor is very knowledgeable and seems very experienced. However, once things are out of his hands and is passed on to his staff, much is no longer taken care of. It has been two weeks and I am unable to get my presciption filled due to needing prior authorization. Unfortunately, after stopping by two times and speaking to both pharmacy and insurance company, I am still waiting for Dr. Chu to provide the document in order to get the presciption filled . The front desk clerk hung up because I was frustrated that she continued to tell me I do not need prior authorization and she doesn't have time to contact my pharmacy. She was the same person sitting at the desk and on her Facebook page while I am still without meds.

I did not like Dr. Chu at all. My 20 year old daughter suffers from debilitating migraines. He always saw us in a hurried, brisk manner. Never took the time to listen to what was going on. Gave her tons of medication - non worked - and one was so strong it sent her to the ER. He is impersonal and rushed.

Dr. Chu is an excellent neurologist who has treated me for several years. He is thorough, listens to me, and understands my issues. The entire staff is most helpful, cordial and caring. I highly recommend him.

We recently visited Dr. Chu for a follow-up visit at his new location. He is as sharp, thorough and polite as he was a year ago. He's the only doctor we have outside of the Katy area because of the quality of service he provides.
