My visit to Dr. Galland was for my daughter and was many years ago. I had posted a long, detailed, one-star review which apparently has been removed. So I am posting again. On Yelp reviews, there were numerous one star reviews, all of which I agreed with. He doesn't take insurance, his fees are outrageously high, he shows no compassion, you have to chase him down for a follow-up, and he couldn't even diagnose the problem. One reviewer said "sorry I believed all the hype about this doctor". I totally agree with all of that, and more. In my case, I spent a lot of money, only to be told by Dr. Galland that my daughter should take an OTC probiotic. Unbelievable. I could have figured that out on my own. I have read the five star reviews that rave, and I'm very happy for those patients who feel they have been helped by Dr. Galland. But there are many who feel like I do. As a doctor, he should be helping all his patients, and not being greedy while doing it.

I want to first say that I have no personal connection to Dr. Galland. I first saw him in 2007 after seeing a multiple doctors that could not help. All blood tests he ordered were relevant to my complaints. After a year or so of treating me I was on the road to feeling so much better. Fast forward to March 2021. I came down with some very strange and awful symptoms and living in a foreign country not speaking the language the very well and not getting anywhere was very stressful. I contacted his office and he has been nothing but caring, helpful, trying very hard to find out what is going on, coordinating with specialist at no extra charge to me. He answers any questions I have within 24 hours always! Has been very conscious of the costs that I have incurred. Yes, it's private pay and not covered by insurance but in my opinion well worth it. Yes, you have to wait past the appointment time. I have complete confidence that he has put in 1000% to helping. It's been worth the wait. THANK YOU! Dr. Galland
