This man was beyond rude. Before making an appointment I checked out his background online, which stated he was a neurology expert among many other things. When in the office I brought up the fact that one of the two main issues with my pain is my cold feet. He then denied that he had any training in this area which then lead me to believe he is running a racket. On top of that he attempted to corner me into making me believe my pain was an addiction issue. Told me that the first thing to deal with was my addiction when the only reason I take medications is for the pain. I have never done any intravenous drugs, never abused any opiate medications, never bought street drugs. Despite my honesty and professionalism he was outright disrespectful and made me shed a tear. I would not recommend this man to anyone, and in my opinion can't understand how he obtained his so called "niche" in the field. His nose could not be further up his rectal cavity, and clearly he had some preconceived notions of what he thought of me as a person, before even taking the time to meet me.

No impressed. The man thinks he is a drug rehab more than a pain clinic. He accuses everyone of drug-seeking, and automatically wants to put everyone on Suboxone. I have degenerative disks L3 to S1, right radial nerve damage, and spinal cord nerve damage: All I ever received from him was accusations of drug seeking, and 5 years of terribly painful injections that NEVER helped me (in fact they made it worse), when I told him I wanted to get a second opinion, he said that there was nothing wrong (after checking my MRI again), and he then made several retractions stating that nothing was wrong, I shold have exploratory surgery, and that I should spend time in a rehab for opiate addiction, doing IOP, etc. I and several other of his patients have seen signs if IV morphine/dilaudid & amphetamine use in Dr. Lalonde himself. Seems like he's the drug-user, not all of his patients, MOST of whom have legit need for treatment and drug / pain killer therapy, such as myself & many others.

Dr. Lalonde is one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen. He did spinal corticosteroid injections in a nearly painful manner and with great concern for my comfort. When I needed surgery and had deep concerns, Dr. Lalonde took time out of his busy schedule to fit me in to talk and answer my questions. This man is a real doctor, and I greatly appreciate his care.

I'm writing on behalf of a friend who had this physician at a different Maine practice in until March of 2012. He prescribed a spinal cord stimulator for my friend. She had the device implanted and never saw him again not even for follow up. No other physician will look at the device. This physician resurfaced after many months at a this new practice. We don't know what went on but he disappeared from one practice, abandoning his patients with no notice, and resurfaced months later at this one.

He is the best dr i have ever seen in my life. he cares enghou not to just hand u pills but wants u to be pain free as much as possible

He is not good at listening to the patient. He does treat people like they are seeking drugs even after one visit. He did not know me at all and verbally attacked me in the office. After about a half a dozen screw ups on his staffs behalf,and treated me like I was just looking for drugs when I just had surgery. At this point I am not impressed and clearly there are staffing issues that at some point will get him in trouble.

Dr. Lalonde treated my pain by prescribing me vicodin which then worked up to methadone and oxycodone. He is not a good doctor at all instead of treating my condition he got me addicted to painkillers for over 5 years. In that time period he did NOT ever tell me what I had or why I was in so much pain. Please if it happened to me it could happen to you.

When we had insurance he was great to my husband,however when we lost coverage it was like Dr jekyl & Mr Hyde! He told us that unless we were rich he couldnt help! I guess money means more than people!
