Dr. Lancourt has been my doctor for the past ten years. He is one of the most caring, considerate, perceptive and knowledgeable doctors I have known. He has helped me with my pain considerably and always shows that he cares what is going on in my life that may have a consequence on my health. His willingness to take the time to ask questions and check all movements is much appreciated. He has devoted his life to medicine and is the best there is in his speciality.

My backproblem (L5-S1, had a microdistectomy in 1989)had returned. After diagnosis (MRI etc.), medications and physical therapy brought no improvement. A steroid injection (epidural?) was prescribed and in the days following the shot my symptoms cleared up and I am now as functional as before this event. I left Dr. Lancourt with recommendations which exercises not to do during workouts. I am very pleased with his approach to my problem - and happy with the result. Hope it lasts !

Dr. Lancourt has been my doctor for over 20 years for various conditions and situations He has always looked after my best interests and cares about the long-term effects of his presciptions. I trust his knowledge and integrity and he has not given me cause to change that opinion. Some of my conditions have been complicated, and he has consistently looked out for my medical best interests. I highly recommend him.

Though Dr. Lancourt and his staff are very nice, I did not find him to be competent in diagnosing my back injury. In fact he never figured out what was wrong or how to fix it. His physical therapy office just went through the motions and were not able to help me. In addition he had me take muscle relaxants and pain killers for months which lead to intestinal issues. After reading the other negative (and quite similar) review on him, I felt compelled to reiterate the lack of recommendation for Dr. Lancourt. It was only after I stopped with his treatments/Rx and when to a chiropractor that I recovered from the back injury.

I came to this doctor seeking a second opinion for a treatment for my lower back pain. I have gone through therapy with other doctor before and it didn't help. I told the doctor of my medical history and he doesn't seem to care. He sent me to take MRI and it came out inconclusive. I told him that I don't want to do physical therapy again but he insisted that I should give it a second chance at this very unique clinic and he promised they will have different treatment than the one I went to previously. After I went to the therapy clinic, then I found out that he owns the clinic. But I chose to give it a shot. After spending 4 weeks of therapy, nothing change. My back is still hurt. I went back to the doctor and complained with him, he basically told me that my back is fine and give me more pain killer prescription that I have to take every day for the next 3 months before I can come back to see him. I feel like I have been scammed by him.
