Excellent surgeon. After my surgery I had absolutely no shoulder pain. I applied the ice brace on my shoulder for 48 hours continuously, which I think prevented swelling and pain.

He’s amazing! I now have full use of my arm! He took his time to ensure I understood everything before the surgery. He was beyond confident which was very helpful as I was a bit nervous before my surgery. He suggested I use the cooling unit after surgery and it made a world of difference. I requested that I have t3’s instead of anything stronger and there was a slight mix up but he made sure I had the correct pain management meds before leaving the hospital. He was wonderful and I’m so grateful for his skills as it has given me back the use of my arm. As a 27 year old going through life with little use of your arm is horrible. I now can do all the things I love again which includes holding all my nieces & nephews! Thanks Dr. Randle

Some may think Dr Randle comes across as a little arrogant or cocky. When I first met him we had an interesting dicussion and I wasn't sure how to take him. Fine line between cocky and confident. There are two people in my life that I really hope are confident and would love if they were so confident they were a little cocky...my Dr (Surgeon) and Lawyer. Dr Randle is certainly confident and I'm happy for it. He can also be funny at times too. Thank you Dr. Randle

I read through the low ratings here and I am sorry, I just cannot backup what they are saying. Dr. Randle gave me exactly the care I needed. No, he wasn't the warmest person in the world, that doesn't mean he is cold or inattentive. I don't need hugs and idle chit chat from my doctor, I need a very skilled and confident surgeon and that is exactly what he was.

As for the comments that where things went wrong, I am very sorry for what has happened to you as I would not wish life long problems on anybody. I know how unjust it feels when circumstances deal you a crappy hand and I hope fortune brings you a better future.

I went in for a simple rotator cuff repair. The pain is gone, however I cannot raise my arm past my shoulder, or even reach the radio buttons in my car. If I push anything like a USB stick into my computer. I have to use my left hand to push my right hand forward. I think a nerve was severed during the surgery.

I was very surprised I got into see him so quickly. I had a complete thickness tear of the superspinas and dislocated bicep. Dr Randle is meticulous in his work. No evidence of any scars. I healed quickly and very happy with my results however the ownness is on the patient to do the physio and follow his directions. I highly recommend Dr Randle

I am now 4 years post op. When another surgeon told me just to do physio I wasn't happy with that answer and waited 2 years to see John for a second opinion. He agreed to do surgery just based on my info (it would dislocated when I sneezed even) and I had an anterior and posterior repair. I am good as new and have him to thank!!
