I have had chronic bronchitis and respiratory problems that have been treated by anti=biotics by other doctors. I was sent to and E.N.T by the Mercy Gilbert Hosp after and asthma attack back in 2/09. He put me on anti-biotics and prednisone again. I had reoccuring symtoms and finally he gave up on me as well and sent me to Dr. Doina Lapusan. She tested my blood(no other Dr. had done this before her and I had seen 4 other Dr's.) she found a problem with the white and red blood cells and gave me a booster shot to increase the red cells and told me to discontinue the prednisone that I had been on continuously on and off for over 1 year. when I returned she found a polyp in my nostril She got me in touch with a ent surgeon who removed the polyps in 8/09. She has been working with me to get me off of the prednisone and this week there was a breakthru.Dr. Lapusan is a dedicated physician who cares deeply about her patients. Her staff is professional as well as a joy to visit.I love them.

Dr. Lapusan and staff are phenomenal! I was referred to Dr. Lapusan after my regular doctor was left scratching her head due to my chronic hives. My original doc put me on Prednisone to control the hives after trying many other drugs. Dr. Lapusan recognized the fact that I'd been on the streroids way too long and immediately put a plan into effect to help me slowly get off them. She also put me on another drug specifically made for chronic hives. Have no idea why my other doc didn't think to try that! My hives are under control and nearly non-existent now so I'm much happier. I also feel better getting off the silly steroids. Dr. Lapusan is very caring, takes time with her patients and also very knowledgeable. Her staff is very personable and just plain fun to be around. The office is gorgeous and new. Highly recommend this practice in a heartbeat. Wish I could see them more often!

Dr. Lapusan is the absolute best you will ever find. I feel like I finally have the care I have needed. She is amazing, kind, thoughtful, and so knowledgeable. I have never waited long to get in, and she spends a very long time with each patient. The staff is great, and what a bright elegant office! She is the best doctor I have ever ever had. I have and would recommend her to my friends, and family.

Dr. Doina Lapusan is an exceptional doctor and allergist. After many visits with other doctors with low to poor results in treating my allergy/asthma condition, Dr. Lapusan took her time in analyzing my condition(s); found the real causes, and recommended treatments that have been very successful. Medications were not the first thing she prescribed - rather through examinations, found causes, then came the medicines. She is a very sympathetic, calm, caring and personable doctor. I would recommend her highly to anyone with allergic and asthma conditions.

Dr Lapusan is my immunologist. I actually went to her for a second opinion and ended up staying with her. I've always felt she took the time to address my concerns, no matter how ridiculous. The treatment she has me on has been very effective and has improved my quality of life significantly. I've had no problems with her staff or with wait times.

Dr. Lapasan saved my life last winter. I had been sick for over 6 months, on and off antibiotics and even hospitalized. She listened to my story, ran one blood test, and determined that I had pneumonia all along. She gave me the pneumonia shot and a long course of a strong antibiotic and I finally got better. She is the best Doctor I have ever seen. This year she has helped me again when all the other doctors I see haven't been able to treat me with the correct course of medicine. Her staaff is very caring and helpful. She really cares about my health and takes her time listining to all my problems.

Dr. Lapusan is nice, all right and she seems to be a good doctor, but there are other things that are imporant to making me want to give her return business. One thing that really bothers me is that her staff is cold as ice, especially the nurse who takes your vitals and they make you pay your co-pay as soon as you walk in. That, to me, is quite rude and un-trusting of patients.. I mean, hello, we're not in the projects. Her staff has a serious attitude and personality problem. I only go to see her because she's close to work and wait time is minimal.. but I guess that's what you get these days.

Dr. Lapusan was nice but she didn't impress me as a physician. She didn't seem to listen and think about my complaints. Instead, she just seems to have this generic cook book algorithm of dealing with all her patients. I guess for some patients, they are content with that as long as the doctor is nice but I wanted a doctor who can think and do more than just be a robot. It also didn't help that she was late for my appointment and her staff is not very friendly. I wouldn't go back to see her

Dr.Lapusan is a role model for medical expertise, intelligence, and empathy. She explained all my tests and next steps, provided copies of lab test results, and made sure all my questions were answered before the end of each appointment - with reassurance of "what it's not"... It's the way medicine should be practiced, but almost a first in my long experience. After 11 months of chasing between many Dr's and lab tests, Dr.Lapusan identified my key problems in the first 2 visits (ruling out large areas of former concern) with treatment now begun and helpful home therapy directions.
