Came in with what I thought was serious cold vs possible bronchitis. I am 78 years old and do not take this lightly so came in immediately. I was worked in with the PA Huges who diagnosed me with a cold a gave me anti histamines and an inhaler, increase fluids and rest - no antibiotics even though I had fever and chills and was feeling horrible. The next day woke feeling worse and went to UC - the MD there said NO WAY you have pneumonia and took x-ray that confirmed it. Had I waited to see another provider for sure I would have ended up in the hospital or worse. Big wrong diagnosis.

Dr. Hicken is one of the sharpest doctors I've ever seen. I work for a large healthare facility... and go outside of my network to see Dr. Hicken. He's smart, and very handsome.

This is the best doctor/medical staff office that I have used to date. I have some very serious medical problems and have a lot of experience with different doctors and without question Dr. Hicken and his PAC support staff are the best general family care support that I have used. I consider myself very lucky to have found them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The ratings speak for themselves. Dr.Hickens and his staff are wonderful. Jared is amazing. I feel more like I am with a friend than anything. He listens and laughs, and makes me feel at ease. I appreciate that they are ahead of the game on technology with their tablets ready to go. I can't imagine changing doctors!

Have used Dr. Hicken (& Jared Hough, his PA) for many years now and couldn't be happier. He has been very thorough and personable with each and every visit. I've always been able to ask all my questions without being rushed out. And he's always had all my information in front of him pn his tablet PC, so I don't have to "jog" his memory about every little thing--seems to use modern technology well. Also seems to be good about keeping up to date on the latest research in a lot of areas of general medicine.

I have been going to Dr. Hicken for 7 years and their are several things I like about him. He spends time with each patient, never in a rush and answers all of your questions. Staff is always very professional and helpful. His PA Jared is a professional who helps relieve the doctor for more serious problems and I highly, highly recommend both of them. I had an emergency at the doctors office and they both left their meeting to assist me, which told me the patient was more important then the meeting. They are both very caring and personable.

A very good office, well run. Be sure to take advantage of Jarred Hough, who is their PA, because it helps the office to run smoothly. Jarred is plenty knowledgable if you jut have a sore throat or something and don't need the Doctor. He does many of my kids' physicals, too. This frees up the Doctor, who is great and very knowledgable and easy to work with, for the more difficult questions.
