I had my knee replacement eight years ago. All was great for a year, until my IT band became inflamed. It was NOTHING to do with the surgery at all - I was walking 5 miles a day six. months after the surgery. About three years later, we were planning a revision when Dr. Stone was concerned he couldn't give me any better results. I had to respect that. Now, after years of trying to manage inflammation (and not killing my kidneys), I came back to see him. He was as open and accepting of my thoughts and questions as he was originally.

We've come up with a plan for some tests to check bone integrity etc and we will talk again after those tests are done. I'm not sitting excitedly looking for a revision, as I haven't forgotten the pain and hard work it took after the original surgery. We will make a decision and I will rely on Dr. Stone's expertise in coming to a decision.

Dr. Stone is very busy and yet takes the time to speak with his patients (and because of that sometimes falls behind schedule); however I know I am going to get great medical care from him, if we decide to do a revision.

Paula is an amazingly kind and caring assistant; she always treats you like you are the only person she has to interact with.

People need to be kinder to our medical staff - they dedicate years of their lives and hours in their day trying to help us!

I have had two total knee replacement surgeries with Dr. Stone and I found that he was upfront and honest and very knowledgeable about everything. The surgeries were such a hard ordeal but the results were fantastic. Thank you Dr. Stone, you’re a very talented surgeon. It must be said, the office is run like clock work and Paula is the most wonderful person to deal with. So organized and personable.

I had an arthritic knee that was completely fused. Dr. Stone is the only surgeon that was willing to try and fix my knee. It ended up being a long complex surgery but i stood for the first time in over a year. He really fixed it. Thank you.

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful, wonderful thoughts, comments, and respect, for Dr. Trevor Stone. He took me into his care after having walked on a knee and supposedly “fixed” femur, and was astounded bu the fact that I had been left to walk, with or without walking aides, on what you described as a “still broken.” Over the prior three years before being offered to talk to someone, I have been in Excruciating pain for over 2 1/2 years. I am happy to say that after seeing Dr. Stone, and undergoing two surgeries, my femur was completely repaired, and my knee was replaced successfully. The pain is FINALLY gone and, had I not been referred to Dr. Trevor Stone, I fear I would still be I n the grievous pain, and likely in a wheelchair. I have nothing but great respect and appreciation to say about his consideration, understanding, listening skills, ability to explain, and his endless enthusiasm and excitement to make myself understand the surgeries. He was always there with a smile at the start of the surgeries and joking and happiness at the end. He and his partners in the clinic, as well as their support staff, particularly Paula are amazing. They have big hearts, incredible, and unending patience, and understanding, and a lot of skills and knowledge. I was blessed to be sent there, and I will be forever grateful for being somehow sent by the universe into take care of Dr. Trevor Stone and his colleagues.

I can’t say enough good things about him. I have my life back from debilitating injuries because of his work on me. Thanks Doc. Damon Meshen

I had a complicated hip replacement surgery, Dr. Stone was amazing and his team were great. I have zero pain and felt his bedside manner was top notch. I was grateful to have had him as my surgeon. 100% recommend.

Dr. Stone performed a bi-lateral hip replacement (two hips at once) on me at the age of 38. He was confident in his work and my procedure went as expected with no issues or complications. I made a full recovery in 6 weeks! He was very upfront in consultations proceeding surgery and it is clear that he is very skilled in the techniques and implants that he regularly uses in his practice. I have no reservations in recommending him to anyone looking for an orthopaedic surgeon for a hip replacement procedure.

If you read the other comments about the gripes about his bedside manners (which are fine - polite, brisk and efficient), ask yourself this, what's more important - the skills or a personality? He's an orthopaedic surgeon and does a skilled job on the operating table and will get you back on your feet the way you're supposed to. He's not a psychologist to make you feel better mentally. So if you are looking for a job well done, you have a good choice here. Would definitely recommend.

Fell 20 feet from my ladder and broke my Tibia and Pylon which is the weight bearing portion at the base of the shin bone which I wish I would learned about under different circumstances. I decided to post on this particular thread to bring the score up since there are few negative Nelly's on here. When I was in Peace Arch the Surgeon had me x-ray'd and said to me " If I had this same injury I am going send you to the Surgeon I would want it done by. " That seems to fly in the face of some of these Nelly's on here. My injury was on Aug 10th and Surgery on Aug 17th 2021. I am back on my ladder already. This guy is my buddy for life. I had many conversations with folks in the dog park who were walking again because of none other than you guessed it Dr. Trevor Stone. I have a business myself. Don't come on here and attempt to butcher another mans living. Especially one that spends his entire career trying to put people back together. Just because you can get on keyboard and attempt to do damage to someones lively hood doesn't mean you should. I do not understand all this beside manner stuff. We were injured and we want to get fixed. Are coming for surgery or a hug. I would suggest getting your hugs before you come for Surgery. Thank you Dr. Stone for dedicating your life to fix dangerous people like me. You will always be my buddy.
