Dr Patel did my Gastric Bypass Surgery and I am very pleased with the results, he is knowledgabe and very caring...I would use him again.

Dr. Patel's office is very unprofessional. Difficult to get someone on the line much less return a phone message. Dr. Patel is knowledgeable yet after the initial consultation I did not see him until surgery. He's alway seems to be rushing and doesn't seem to care about patient safety or care. Dissatisfied with the entire process

Dr Patel is great, but has the most unprofessional staff. They are very rude and unhelpful. I would have gone to another Dr, but i was so far in the process that I chose to stay with him.

He's really interested until surgery day... then he can be curt. I know he's probably really busy though.

I really like Dr. Patel but due to the unprofessional staff he has I am reconsidering using him for my GB. I have been consistently disappointed with his office and nutrition staff. They do not return phone calls, emails. When trying to reschedule an appt it is a nightmare!

Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and cares deeply about good outcomes. There's definitely a reason why he's rated a top doc! I have been VERY satisfied with him, and he has taken excellent care of me. I've lost 130 lbs!! I'm thin for the 1st time in my whole life!

I had a gastric bypass done by Dr. Patel. I ran into major complications and was transferred to a better hospital than the outpatient place he does them. I talked to a friend who is a doctor and he said this my complications were because of the surgeons skill. I'm not sure I would go back to him

This doctor nearly killed my daughter. While he was doing the surgery in a little clinic, he hit her aorta (the big blood vessel in the belly). Stay away.
