I went to Dr. Ralph Duda for treatment of my thyroid disease, and he discovered that my current blood pressure treatment was not working effectively. He very kindly asked if I would like him to treat my blood pressure as well as my thyroid. I previously though my BP could not be controlled. I happily agreed for him to treat me. He cared, he gave me hope. I now have my BP and thyroid under control thanks to him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Duda!

I have great faith in my doctor,Ralph Duda.He does not mince words and I guess I like this.Frankness is good.I feel my health has improved greatly since getting onboard at OK Heart with both Dr.Duda and Dr. R.DePrez.I could probably have more discussions about medications if I'd ask more questions. He knows I want to eventually be OFF them &have awhole new life of health& happiness!BeforeI went to Oklahoma Heart,I had no idea I was'prediabetic. My doctor(primary)NEVER explained or gave me any incentives or warnings about turning getting WELL!I respect my OK HEart doctors so much. They alerted me and got my health going in a proactive way.I'm wondering if my primary would have just watched me continue to be overwight and ACCEPT that my prediabetes/diabetes as genetic and let me go full tilt into Type2 no prevention. I am working hard to lose weight.Lost 30 lbs and have 40 to go.I guess I needed a scare to get me alert to what was happening to my body.Thank you Dr.Duda for the excellence!

I went to see Dr. Duda for low testosterone. as a 32 year old male, it's very odd for me to have low T. During my visit with Dr. Duda, he asked about my sex life. I admitted that , due to some health issues on my wife's part, we didn't have sex as much as I would like. He told me that, despite 2 tests showing that I have low T, the only problem that I had was not enough sex. He said that testosterone is a "use it or lose it" hormone and that having more sex would raise my testosterone levels. I'm no doctor, but I know that EXTREMELY below levels of Testosterone do not occur due to a lack of sex. It was a complete waste of time to see Dr. Duda. He did not seem interested in finding the cause of my ailment.

Dr.Duda made me feel very ignorant and was not friendly. His office wait time is ridicilous and the staff was rude. He has no time for people that are genuinely scared and upset and delivers the news/diagnosis in an unfeeling way. I was really sick and depressed about my condition and he had no time for any of those feelings. We eventually parted ways because I felt he didn't care about anything I had to say. I hear he is a good doctor and do not question his knowledge he just was not my kind of doctor.

Dr. Duda assist me with receiving a insulin pump and was very helpful in teaching me how to use it, and his staff answered every followup question and issue . I cannot thing of all of my medical Doctors and staff of a more caring and patience group of professionals

Dr Duda has taken care of my grandmother for over ten years and while he can be gruff, he is also very committed to his patients. At times the waiting room does become full, but the time that he takes with individuals in the exam room is the cause. I have never felt rushed while there with my grandma. I was thrilled that he began accepting new patients again since my son was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. We will continue using Dr Duda.

Dr. Duda has always been very helpful in my treatment of thyroid cancer. I agree with another posting, he has no tolerance for whining, but will listen if you are concerned about something, and will do everything in his power to help you find the answer. He has never put a time limit on a visit with me and allowed me to ask any questions I need to. This can sometimes make for lengthy waits, but it is worth it. His nurse is great - I can call her at any time with any concern and she immediately addresses it. I have a chronic autoimmune disorder and have seen many, many doctors in my lifetime - Dr. Duda is one of the best.

First of all let me say that Dr. Duda has never been my physician nor will he be. He was the Dr. on call when results were returned on my MRI ordered by his colleage. Dr. Duda was gruff, abrupt and very uncaring as he called and delivered to me the shocking news of a large brain tumor. This man really needs to learn how to deliver difficult news to patients.

My first and only visit consisted of a 2 hr lobby wait time. Had severe thyroid pain/problem. Doctor Duda literally had me drink orange soda to test for type 2 diabetes, I passed it then he asked me if I wanted anti depressants prescribed, I said no knowing something physical was wrong with me, then he said he'd see me in 6 months while I was in extreme pain. His demeanor was aloof to smarmy and uncaring. There were over 6 patients waiting for over an hour so it gave us all the impression he's only interested in his paycheck by over lapping patients appointments rather than test and give proper diagnosis. He's much to quick to prescribe anti-depressants, probably gets and takes lucrative incentives from pharmiceutical sales reps. Worthless greedy quack. My current Endocrinologist is the BEST!

Dr. Duda took me as a patient when my current doctor was no longer handling my diabetes well and resenting my active participation in healthcare. He was honest about what bad shape I was in and took an aggresive but positive attitude. I felt better than I had in many months. I drive over an hour each way to see him (although I usualy see Joe Gallagher who is equally knowledgable and concerned). I recommend him to anyone and everyone I can. When my primary doctor dropped me because I refused to stop seeing Duda, he called me personally to voice his regrets, but gracious that I remained his patient. I won't go anywhere else!
