Going into my surgery, I felt very confident with Dr. Shofler , and as it turned out, my surgery was successful and I feel very grateful that it was done by the skilled hands and expertise of this

I totally trust Dr.Shofler. He thoroughly explained my procedure in terms which I could understand. My procedure was successful and I am so please that I chose Dr. Shofler. His office staff is very professional and courteous. They put my mind at ease and also thoroughly explained everything to me. If I ever need a surgeon I will not think twice to go to Dr. Shofler. Dr Shofler is an excellent surgeon. The office staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. I totally trust Dr Shofler, and he has repeatedly proven his expertise (4 successful surgeries over 14 years) in giving me the best options and care possible.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. This doctor hurt my husband while examining him (I was present at the appointment). It took my husband a week to recover from bleeding and pain. His office is rude, dishonest and incompetent: 1. We were overcharged by Carla - charged for a surgery which was not performed; 2. When I called the office about it, Jaime there was very rude with me and insisted that they always charge for this procedure. I finally got to talk to Carla who does billing and she admitted that she charged for something which was not performed. She promised to submit a corrected form but instead submitted another claim for an additional charge! I had to spend a lot of time with my insurance company to correct it. My insurance company even advised me to report this doctor to Medical Board. 3. Doctor misdiagnosed my husband and was not interested in explaining anything. Conclusion: incompetent doctor and staff, dishonest with charges, rude, unprofessional. Avoid!

Dr. Shofler is amazing! I'm hoping I never have another hernia, but if I do, I will make sure Dr. Shofler is my surgeon again!
