Dr. Craig Shalmi is the consummate professional. I came to him with a herniated disk in my lower lumbar region. Excruciating pain I never experienced before. He was quick to put me at ease and knew exactly what to do. In addition to being an excellent doctor, Dr. Shalmi is also a caring person. He took an interest in me and my progress, and saw it through to the end.

They are always there for me I?ve been a patient for many years Barbara Somers is my nurse .She is a wonderful and caring nurse I count my lucky stars that I found them when I did .and Doctor Shalmi is a great doctor

I am not sure anyone could properly put into words what Dr. Shalmi, hi OR staff, and Jenna do above and beyond to keep their patients in the best shape they can be. I spent the holiday season of 2017 flat on my back or in agony. Nothing would ease the pain and by the time I got to Dr. Shalmi, I was near the end of my ability to cope at all. This issue took my life over and nearly destroyed my mind; chronic unyielding pain. Thank you from my heart. May all of you be blessed not just during the holidays but always.

I?ve been coming to Dr.Shalmi?s office for 9-10 years now. Their first priority is to make sure my pain level is at the best It can be for my issues. They make sure that I?m comfortable and take every safety precautions in dealing with my pain and medications. They have a lot of respect for me as their patient. They provide me with everything that is necessary within the guidelines of my case. They are both great listeners to hear about my pain. Barbara Somers has always been here for me. I?d be in so much pain if it wasn?t for Barbara fighting to get approvals for injections for me and for Dr. Shalmi for being there to give them to me. I can?t Thank Them enough for their patience and time. I have a lot of respect for both of them

I have been a patient at New York Pain Consultants/N.Y. Spine and Pain for 14 years. I have always been treated with respect, kindness and empathy for the level of my pain which I have had for many years. I have had multiple pain treatments in the hospital that relieved the severe pain that I have experienced. I also had a continuous medication infusion pump implanted which did an excellent job of controlling my pain..I feel very fortunate that Dr Shalmi and Barbara Somers ANP , have been my outstanding medical team.

Dr. Shalmi has an excellent bedside manner. Have been to several doctors and emergency room and he was the only doctor with help, answers and a plan. When you don't know what to do next, finding a doctor like him is a gift. The office staff was also very helpful and exceptionally concerned.
