Rude staff-couldn't care less about any of the patients- all act like they are doing you a favor.
Mother ovarian cancer misdiagnosed by Dr. Pinto several times until too late had spread to stage 4 by time she was sent to specialist in Boston. No accountability. Would not refer her to my worst enemy...Awful

Dr. Pinto has provided care to my mother (84 years old) for over 10 years. She is a pro. Sorry to hear that others feel they have had a poor experience with her, but Dr. Pinto has been nothing but patient, understanding, and thorough with my mother. She may not always tell people what they want to hear and her casual/calming demeanor may not be what some are used to, but I find it very hard to believe that Dr. Pinto does not genuinely care to help anyone in her care. Judge for yourself and go meet Dr. Pinto in person. Nancy and Sam in Dr. Pinto's office are very helpful, as well!

I have been visiting Dr Pinto's office for the last several years. Less visiting, more avoiding visits actually. That's mostly because of her staff. The receptionist and answering service suck royally, to say the least. These people should not be in this profession because they sound like they are doing you a favor just by speaking to you. I don't know how they have managed to keep the office open for so many years in spite of this ridiculous behavior. It's the 1st of jan 2014 and after many months I decided to call the office because I am pregnant and down with fever for several days. I called Anne pinto's office and spoke to her answering service. The woman at the answering service was extremely rude and sounded like she was least interested in taking the call. I don't understand why they employ people who have trouble to even pick up a phone and speak nicely. No body calls a doctor's office for fun, least of all on the 1st of jan. I hope this office shuts down soon!

I choose Dr Pinto because she was close to my age and also has children about the same age as mine. I figured she could relate to me as a woman, mother and understand my body. I have been to her office 3 times and wach time the staff was rude and I always try to make the first appointment of the day so I do not get caught in the overbooking. Each time I am meet by a rude receptionist, I have had to wait as much as 30 minutes beofer I am seen, one time while waiting I could hear the doctor and another staff member looking at some vacation photos. Dr pinto was very condecending when I asked for a particular test she almost laughed at me and tole me to take a nasal spray, as if I don't know my body. I went to another doctor, found out I have GERD. The problem with this woman is she feels like she is sbove you and, Very full of herself and not really that good of a doctor She needs to look you in the eye and stop looking in the mirror. I will not go back to her again.

I think people are being unfair in their rating of Dr. Pinto and the staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Pintos for over 10 years now and I have not always agreed with Dr. Pinto's advice, but I can say that she is as good a doctor as I have been a patient...and I think that is all you can really ask of her or the staff, right? I mean, when I have an issue and I have taken the time to work with Dr. Pinto correctly we have always made progress. She's brutally honest sometimes and I swear I have been mad at her at times only to think about things an hour later and realize she is right and really is only telling me the truth and trying to help me in the long run. So, to end this, Dr. Pinto is actually a pretty cool doctor because she tells you the truth, directs you to the specialists needed and then the rest is up to us as patients to follow through with the doctor's advice, take better care of ourselves and share some responsibility for our lives! I'm keeping her as my P.C.P.!!!

So I found this site very interesting considering I have been feeling I would like to switch from Dr Pinto. I went in there for a physical a couple years ago, and have not been back since, due to the way i was treated. The office staff totally acted like they could care less who i was, i waited a long time for a physical that took 3 minutes. I think she looked down on me because I had not been for a physical in quite some time before seeing her, and therefore did not take my symptoms of acid reflux seriously and told me to keep trying OTC ailments. I mentinoed too that I have a toe nail fungus and asked her to please refer me to a specailist she looked at my feet in disgust and brushed it off saying she would refer me later. My parents both go to her on the regular, and she recently misdiagnosed my fathers prostate cancer, saying he was fine, thank god he got a second opinion and caught it. Point being, Anne Pinto is young & incompetent and I will be changing my PC doc ASAP.

I like Dr. Pinto, but the nurses at the office is horrible. They make you fill out your own paperwork and don't seem to care why you are there or how to help you. Dr. Pinto also rushes through your appointment and I always feel like I am interrupting her day. I am looking for a new PC.

I've been going to this practice for 20 years. But my doctor retired so I had find a new primary care.Well I figured if I would stay at the same place and pick another doctor.I picked a Dr. Pinto.I went to see her for the first time.we went over the medications I was takeing.First off I have been taking a medication for nervousness since 1995.She was kind of putting me down for taking this medicine. Then she told me I should get off of it.So she told me to skip a dose.Which I found out later on from another doctor it was dangerous to do that with this type of medication. So in other words she miss informed me.She did how ever refer me to psycoligst.I also had a sleeping problem. She refer me to a sleep study.Which was helpful.I found out that I had sleep apnea.Which I an now getting treated for.I will not go back to see Dr.Pinto again.
