Love love Dr Ott nd his manner dealing with my mom. But the office staff is incompetent- “sorry we’re implementing a new system” - should not be an excuse for months on end. Regularly on hold for over an hour total - I say total because usually the system hangs up after 20 minutes and you have to start over again. Very frustrating- too bad because I am looking for a new doctor due to office staff.

This WAS my 91 year old grandmother's Doctor. She was sick for 4-5 months, kept making Dr's appointments, and was told multiple times "If you keep complaining I'll have to send you to a specialist. He IS a geriatric specialist, and there was something very obviously wrong. By the time I took her to a different doctor (thank god) she had been Anemic for 4-5 months, needed immediate hospitalization, and almost died. You would think a Geriatric specialist would be able to simply identify Anemia instead of making 4 months of veiled threats about a "specialist" to an Anemic 91 year old woman. Don't let his decent bedside manner fool you, and don't let a loved one end up in the Hospital because of him. I highly recommend ANY other doctor.

This my mother's (age 97) new doctor. I accompany her on the appointments. He is wonderful and very caring with older people. Dr Ott takes lots of time to explain things to her. Highly recommended!
