Dr banas was a great doctor i had him he delivered two of my children they are now 15 and 17 i wish he was still around because i would take my daughter there so he can delivered her baby does anyone no who is there now thank you doctor Banas for delivered my kids

A very quiet but thorough man he delivered my son January 7 of 2007 a healthy baby boy I am FOREVER greatful of him and thankful.... THANK YOU DR. BANAS!!!! ... Candice.

Dr. Banas was a great, although it's been some time since I lasted seen him. I will forever be grateful for him and his staff at the time I had my children. He delivered all four of my children and he never made me feel like he didn't care. I was told by the Illini staff that Dr.Banas wouldn't come to deliver my daughter because it was too late. I told them I spoke with him earlier and he told me he would. He was there a half hour later to deliver my third child at 3:20am. I had a child pass away and he not only sent flowers to the funeral home he sent us a card and a check. I know not everyone will like the same Dr. or agree but I highly recommend him. He made me feel ver comfortable and ready to answer any question that I had.

Unfortunately I had a change in insurance during my second pregnancy. In response to change of insurance, Dr. Banas stated he would not drive to Silvis to deliver. We called to say that we were on our way to the hospital arriving at the Moline hospital as soon as possible, labor was fast. When we arrived we were informed Dr. Banas was still seeing patients at his office. Within an hour my daughter arrived and she was taken to ICU Dr. Banas appeared in a hurry, disinterested and did not have time to comfort me or check on me personally after I had bleeding complications. While he may be a knowledgeable doctor who provided good prenatal care in general he displayed poor bedside manner

DR.banas has the personality of a door knob. If you are looking for a doctor with good bed side manner keep looking. Doesn't seem like he cares about his patients,more about how many a day he can see.

Dr. Bana's staff are not only cheerful but kvery nowledgable. Dr. Banas has a tendency to rattle off quickly information that he apparently repeats over and over to patients. He speaks so quickly I feel rushed and sometimes intimidated to press him further to answer questions.

Dr. Banas is a man of few words but will answer questions readily - but does not offer if not asked. My initial impression of him was not a great bedside manner but I think he is quiet overall. He provided great care for pregnancy and delivery and continues to give great care for yearly exams.
