I had a breast reduction about 5 years ago. The results are awful. One breast is one size bigger, and the nipple area looks horrific. My husband and I are so disappointed. I went back for a follow up and he told me there is nothing he could do.

Dr. Mathieson is an amazing doctor. He took the time to really explain everything to me. He was very supportive through all the phases of surgery and made all of it so easy for me. I have absolute confidence in his knowledge and care that he has for his patients. I would recommend that if you are looking for a good doctor to do plastic or reconstructive surgery, that you contact Dr. Mathieson. Surgery can be scary and finding a good doctor is such a relief!

My daughter had breast reconstruction and breast reduction after having breast cancer. Dr. Mathieson explained every step of the surgeries and answered questions to our satisfaction. He is an excellent surgeon. His staff is amazing. Very accommodating. It was very comforting for me as a mother to know he was taking care of my daughter.

Please go elsewhere! I went in for a simple tummy tuck and he did a horrible job and I was unhappy with the results as he didnt take away enough skin and i had a huge bulge to the left of my belly button.He convinced me I needed a second tummy tuck by cutting vertically from between my breasts to pubic area.he left me with a horriblly crooked scar and a belly button that was completely obscene. I recently had a third tummy tuck and scar and belly button revision by a dr in Columbus. Four other plastic surgeons who i talked to to fix his **** job seriously doubted his plastics certification. They all were of the opinion that what he did to me was completely unacceptable. I will file a grievance against him with the state licensing board as my statute of limitations to file a malpractice complaint has ended. Stay away! Please trust me.I wish I could post pictures on this website of my tummy to show you his work!

Dr.Mathieson is wonderful! He has a great bedside manner, listens to all my concerns and explains everything to me. He is very careful and caring. I am so glad to have found a Dr. like him in such a small town. I had a tummy tuck and my reults are amazing..Thank You Dr. Mathieson!!

My wife went in for a typical breast Aug. rupture Dr. Mathieson totally disfigured her.I went in to some of the visits, after he kept haveing her come in every week,She was telling me what was going on at the apointments, I decided I was going to go in. He continually made excuses, blamed the dr. who did the original aug.She had no problems before having to go to this dr.because the original dr. retired.He continually made light of her concerns, wouldn't let her ask questions without interrupting her everytime she tried to talk, told her to get over it and get on with her life. He refussed to pay for an operation to be performed by another dr. to correct his BAD screw up.We have been through ALOT because we made a bad choice of dr.We did realize later why he was haveing her come in so much was so he could continue to make excuses and get past the one year limit to filling a malpractice suite.This man is very unprofessional in every way,save yourself the heartache,choose a different dr

Had a rupture that was it from an aug. another dr. performed. I decided to go to this dr.he has got me looking like a freak.He doesn't even let you talk,I was dimissed about my concerns and ideas as to how he could fix his SCREW UP,I got alot of blameing the other dr. and excuses. Beware he also tries to buy time so he can get past the 1 year statute period, I learned the hard way.He will keep making excuses, tell you that the operation takes awhile before you find out the true results so just hold off for awhile before coming to any conclusions, then he will schedule follow up apointments so he can sit there talk until you think your going to die, making all kinds of excuses about why you look like a freak now, totally dismissing any feelings you have and then like he told me "you should just get over it and get on with your life".I'm telling you stay away from this "DR".He even told me I could only get a mini tuck instead of a tummy tuck and then put in my records it was my request.
