My children were patients of Dr. Elvove for ten years. I loved that he was supportive of delaying vaccinations with my infant daughter since my son had a terrible reaction to them. I also appreciated that he encouraged natural solutions instead of pharmaceuticals. He was an informative doctor who explained everything so well and his emergency paging service is the very best in the business. He calmed me down a few times when I called with worry. The only real reason we left the practice was first, his head nurse-- she has no bedside manner and is quite put off by children, no patience and rude to parents as well-- quite the contrast to the doctor but since she is the first person you interact with when you are called back to the room, she leaves a lasting impression.

Staff is quite lazy and not very knowledgeable or helpful, especially where insurance or any of the paperwork is concerned. Doctor is quite knowledgeable and helpful.

Office staff is nice! The nurse we had, Kathy is a very rude person! I brought by son there for his 4 year check up (first time) and she was mean to him! Yes mean, she acted like she's never delt with kids before! Isn't this a family doctor!?!? Dr, Elvove was nice, but not very helpful...he didn't help us at all with the few concerns we had with out child and made me feel like an idiot for asking the questions I did! He didn't pay any attention to our child, didn't see where he was (physically and mentally for age) he barely acknowledged him. We will not be going back to him and I will spread the word on how horrible our experience was with him!

I am a 51 y.o. male looking for a new Dr who actually listens to his patients. I wanted to change my blood pressure meds which have me feeling lousy and also wanted to check my hormone and thyroid levels. He told me he does'nt mess around with BP medicines and could refer me to a Cardiologist, yet i was told by staff when i made the appt that he did handle the above conditions. His response was i needed to lose weight on the HCG Diet which consists of hormone doses and a 500 calorie a day diet,along with $30 for a book and he told me it was perfectly safe.What are the long term effects and safety on the body from losing 30-50 lbs in 30 days.I feel it is just a starvation diet, and from researching it online not a very safe one for your body. I would not recommend him personally, but that is my opinion. Too bad i had to pay a copay. Nurse lectured me on smoking a few cigs when having a few drinks with buds once a month. Understood but she kept babbling on like i was 5 y.o.

I am looking for a good doctor and read good reviews about him here and decided to check him out, so I saw him the 1-st time. Nice doctor, but I got a feeling that he is all about lifestyle, natural life, nutrition, and remedies, etc. His office is ull of shelves with supplements and natural stuff (IMO a quick and catchy sell). He did not check me and said that if I feel well and do not complain there is no need to check. No preventative screening necessary at my not-so-young age, just "meet your doctor" (which is not necessarily wrong), but... I am still in doubt,.. and still looking for a doctor. What if a prostate or colon cancer are lurking inside me? You can live the healthiest live 24x7x365, but if your great grandparents rewarded you with bad genetics, your turkey salad and smoke-free life can only delay it so long. His staff is fabulous (friendly, kind, and caring). Nothing wrong about him, but... I am not sure...

GREAT doctor. Very knowledgeable, helpful, sincere, and shows true concern for his patients. He listens to your needs, evaluates with a great deal of experience and treats based on the needs of the patient, not on the currently best selling pharmaceutical. The staff is always helpful too. If I have questions, the staff is always willing to either answer or get me an answer promptly.

Elvove is our family doctor, and is awesome. I am so grateful that we found him. Elvove focuses on solutions (either conventional or unconventional) that work and are the best for you or your child's body. He does not conform to the same conventions, diagnoses, or prescriptions of other medical professionals. He truly cares about his patients, and knows how to help.

an amazing doctor! excellent staff. dr. elvove is always on time, very punctual. always willing to take a moment to discuss concerns with me and i never feel like i'm being pushed out the door. he and his staff totally support my family's medical choices and actually DISCUSS treatment options with me. very educated about less mainstream ideas, never quick to prescribe antibiotics. my whole family loves this practice. ? i'm so glad i found him!
