As said in previous remarks. Stay away. Insurance farmers. Doesn’t make eye contact, stares at computer. Doesn’t listen-I had to correct him many times on simple things that should be in my chart. Took me of one medicine COLD TURKEY, and I had dangerous withdrawals. Had his assistant return my call with poor advice on weaning of it. Unprofessional and dangerous.

Stay away. Uninterested from the beginning, doesn’t allow enough time for the initial consult. Can be pushy and argumentative, slouches down in his chair and stares at his computer monitor most of the time, and seems to be just checking the boxes. Get the impression I was just another insurance claim. If you take a chance on him, insist on advocating for your health and share as much as you can in your limited time.

I have been a patient for 3 years. After a change of insurance, and not having the card, I was asked to pay $125. They do not take care credit, and do not take American express. I was told he would give me one week's prescription and to come back next week. I can't take off work early again. The office front desk child was rude and the doctor refused to talk to me, even for a few minutes.

A shame that after almost 2 years of Dr Yanamadala being my daughter's phyquiatric we just realized it's been a waste of time and money. My daughter started with him at Centerpoint outpatient program (after her third suicidal admission to Mercy hospital). During the 10 minutes appointments he asked general questions and prescribed antidepressants. When opened his own practice he surprisly charged $400 for updating his system. My daughter has an eating disorder and is more depressed than before

If you want a Dr. that'll get you hooked on a short term Benzo for over 2 years and not advising you the dangers of it, THEN THIS IS YOUR GUY!!! He has way too many patients and his visits are only a couple of minutes (if you're lucky) per session. Please stay away from this guy!!!!! I'm currently seeing another Dr. asap to come up with a plan to get my off the poison this ------ has put me on!!!! B

He knows and gets me for sure! He asks me to call him when I see another which makes me feel like he cares for my well being. He has me well in hand and I thank him for giving me his service!

I have been seeing Dr Yanamadal for many years and been paying $100 cash each month for 5 minutes of his time. He used to be a very good Dr but now he has lost all compassion and shows disinterest in any problems I try to talk to him about. The last few times I have seen him he has been downright rude and condescending.I have left his office feeling extremely depressed.
As a psychiatrist his job is to make his patients feel better not worse. I really wish he would take what I am saying seriously but I am afraid he is just burned out with his job and unfortunately he is having a very negative impact on me as his patient.

Dr. Yanamadala is very condescending and rude. We had to reschedule 1 appt after waiting an hour and half to see him on a Saturday and were told by him we could no longer have Saturday appts with him because we rescheduled. It was him that was behind not us! He doesn't answer questions regarding my son's illness and just answers like I should already know the answer to the question I ask regarding the illness and/or treatment. When we call the office or my child's school called to get answers regarding being placed in the homebound school program he won't return any phone calls and no one at the office bother to tell us he doesn't return calls when you call and leave a message. How is that taking care of the patient. We have switched to a different doctor at a different office. I would Never recommend Dr. Yanamadala to anyone. The office manager was extremely helpful in guiding us in choosing a different psychiatrist who would better meet our needs.

Please contact me at mshaese@yahoo.com - my daughter and I were treated terribly by him and his staff - complete lack of caring - I've been trying to fight with Center Pointe so he no longer gets paid (500.00 a session on top of it) for lack of compassion and treatment. Dr. Azfar Malik is the CEO - I want to be a united front of patients and parents letting them know this is not acceptable. They clearly recognize this, have good doctors on staff and opt not to use them.
