I have seen Dr. Yoon for many years and he and his staff have always been very patient and helpful. I have even sent friends and family members to see him! Always a great experience.

Dr Yoon provided me excellent care for my glaucoma for many years. I love him and his staff and always feel welcomed. I am so very sad to have to leave his office due to moving out of state. It will be difficult to find a new dr that is as great as dr Yoon!!

Dr. Yoon was amazing!!! His staff was friendly and I felt very well cared for. I have gone to alot of doctors but this was hands down the best experience to date. Thanks Dr. Yoon

He may be a very good surgeon and I suppose intelligent, but his bed side manners are horrible. Dr. Yoon is very irritable, and disrespects his patients and staff. I have seen him yelling at his staff members, and not to mention his staff members look like they are running around like crazy men after him and the entire experience for me was very chaotic to say the least. Dr. Yoon to be seems like a doctor who has build his success upon the sole fact that he is the only good surgeon in the Rockford area. If he were to practice in a more saturated area he would certainly not survive with his mannerism and attitude, because there would be much better choices of surgeons as talented as him but certainly with more compassion for their patients and staff and respect.

Dr. Yoon is a fantasic doctor! He performed my cataract eye surgery last month and I had a great experience. He was very friendly and caring. His staff was very thorough in explaining my after surgery care and friendly too. Turns out Dr. Yoon has done many of my friend's eye surgeries too and they are as happy as I am.

I don't know how to rate this doctor. My first impression of him was wonderful. I had pretty much the same experience then as the other review except. when I went back for my follow up I was asked if I was having a problem I explained what I was feeling and the tech went back and told him I was having a serious issue. I never said serious but he took it personally. He walked in mad and wouldnt listen to my explanation and he had many staff members and it did feel like a gang up on the patient. he was rude, unprofessional and made remarks that were false and totally uncalled for. He wanted to remember my restore lens the next day??? I went to Madison to have my eye checked out?? did he see something I didnt know. My eye was ok and he did a very good job but the follow up appt was horrible and I felt I was in the twilight zone. I am scheduled for the other eye which I will be canceling. I would not recommend him to anyone. No one should be treated this way. I was appalled.

Doctor was late to surgical procedure. Bedside manner during surgery included yelling at nurses, and rude treatment of the patient. Surgery was effective, though the procedure was very high stress. When the doctor was approached with these issues during the after-care appointment... other physician, staff, and his own wife were brought into the room. This created a very "gang" up on the client atmosphere. The client was told that if she disapproved of his bedside manner, she was free to find a new physician. Overall experience was negative, and this doctor would not be recommended by the patient.
