He was giving me norcos cause of the pain in my hips and all over my body and then when then when the mris came back on my hip he said the were dislocated awhile ago and all that medical stuff, and then he referred me to another doctor!!! cause I have arthritis , and didn't give me anything for pain the norcos just took the edge of barely did anything, he doesn't care if ur in pain at all

Just saw him for the first time. Great bedside manner and a friendly staff. I would highly recommend him and will be returning. Don't mind waiting for a great doctor!!

Doctor TROY is the most caring and trustful doctor I have ever met. He spends time with you and cares about what you had to say, his bedside manner is the best I've ever seen, he makes you feel like part of the family. I've had two knee surgeries with him they were both ACL reconstruction's and I've had an L4/5 back fusion. And I was only 20 years old at the time. He made sure I wasnt so scared about the surgery, because I was so young he made sure I was comfortable and that I can trust him. And since that day i've had hardly any back pain like I had before my back feels so much better thanks to Doctor Troy!!! We did everything under the sun to try to avoid back surgery. But in the end we had no choice. I am now 23 years old with absolutely no back pain thanks to doctor Troy :) I will definitely be seeing Doctor Troy for the rest of my life. I will recommend him to everybody!!

very disappointed the past year. never get to see the doc; only PA. feel like I'm be brushed off. staff is a bit on the not so helpful side. feel that doc is over his head doing so many surgeries and not enough bedside time with patients. have lost my confidence and have moved on to another surgeon

I went to see Dr Troy last month and found him to be very unfriendly and had no interest in in helping me. I found another Dr in Oak Lawn and it's been a world of difference. I would suggest that you find another Dr

His staff except for the billing people I talked to are terrible. The Man is always at least 1.5 hours late for appointments and everyone who worked with him in the office was dumb and lazy

Dr. Troy was great. I would definitely recommend him. However, the office staff is probably the worst that I have ever experienced. I called three times in the course of a week to try to make the initial appointment. I left messages twice and they were never returned. Finally the third time someone answered. I have called twice in the last week to try to make an appointment for physical therapy and they never answer the phone and when I leave a message, it is not returned. I still have not been able to make the appointment. I honestly don't understand how anyone can do business like this. Dr. Troy and his nurse were wonderful, but trying to deal with his office staff, not worth the trouble.

I was sent on 5/31/13 to Dr. Troy for a IME thru the City of Chicago and Coventry when I went to my appt. Dr. Troy had told me that that all my documentation was not there and then he did his exam and told me that I should not go back to such a strenuous job as a sanitation laborer for the city of Chicago since I had multiple surgery's on both arms and still have a torn rotator cuff he asked me to fill in the blanks about missing documents and I did after he was done I was not allowed to sit in with him and my case worker from Coventry as they discussed his findings. Dr. Troy did his report and sent it out and lied he said things that never even came out of my mouth and put down on his report I reached full medical status to go back to work even with a torn rotator cuff to a job that you have to lift 75-100 lbs. He is a crook and should have his licensed taken away from him but what do you expect in a state where political crooks can do as they please and then tell doctors to lie.

Dr. Troy is the best doctor I have ever had, he takes his time with patients and treats them like family, He is very nice and gets to the bottom of the problem you came there for, he will not rush into surgery unless of course it's an emergency, He listens to you describe the problem your having then he will examine you, then he will decide if you need test done or therapy, he is very kind and he helped me with my problem, about 3 yrs I had very bad headaches for months so he did an MRI and discovered I had 3 herniated discs in my neck, he tried therapy but it didn't work so he decided to take me to surgery, after that I was fine, then he also operated on my back and did a fusion, but not before he tried therapy, so Dr Troy always tries physical therapy before he takes you to surgery, He is by far the best Dr. I know and will only trust to do any orthopedic surgery on me. He takes his time with all his patients so if you have to wait for awhile to see him it will be very worth it.

He is an amazing doctor! He did a back fusion on me last year and 2 knee surgeries, and now it feels great!!! He is a very nice doctor who takes him time with you he is in no rush. I reccomend him too everyone :) his bed side manner is great!
