Dr. Gillikin continually tries to sell you services you don't need. He kept telling me I needed a crown on a perfectly good tooth. Three years later and that tooth is perfectly fine. Once I noticed them always trying to sell me services I didn't need, I read some other reviews online saying the same thing. It's a chain dentistry and they are more concerned with their sales numbers than your teeth. I went there for about a year before I caught on to what they were doing. Once he got a pick and started picking at one of my fillings actually trying to get it to come out so he could sell me a crown on that tooth too. If you look at their lobby you will see the awards they have gotten for the highest sales. And that's all they care about.

I'm not sure if Dr. Gillikin is a salesman or a dentist, pushes products as well as services repeatedly, even after you tell him no. He makes off-handed comments that are rude and unprofessional then he laughs about them as if he is joking. The hygienist was actually very nice, but the office staff is also rude.

I had a great experience at the office, the staff was very friendly and the office manager came to my room to introduce herself and told me that they were a few minutes behind she offered me bottle water. Dr Gillikin came in and the visit hust went well and when I paid my bill that was the total amount. I think you should see them instead of reading thing from 2012 .

Awful man who has absolutely no skills with children. I will never take my child or any of my family to him again.

Bad experience with unexpected out of pocket costs, despite my insurance plan language being clear about what they would cover. The office frequently estimated that more would be paid by insurance than what was actually covered. When scheduling my last treatment, they assured me I had not yet reached my max benefit for the year, and I paid the quoted difference between the cost and what would be covered upfront. Then I got a bill for the full cost of the procedure and crown ($2231) a week after the procedure, stating that I had in fact already used up all of my benefits for the year prior to that appt. I could not appeal any of these costs because my plan clearly stated they were not covered, while the dentist was telling me they would be. Do not agree to treatment without being sure for yourself what your insurance will cover; do not take the office's word for it.

Additionally, the Dr. does not have good bedside manner in my opinion. Will not be returning.

Horrible experiences. Multiple visits required for simple preventative care. Both the dentist and hygienist tried to upswell on root planning and scaling because of gingivitis at the price of 700 after ins. I called bs because I had just been to a family member while on vacation who is a dentist and he fixed a filling and pulled my wisdom teeth and said that everything looked fine. The dentist then refused to do the normal cleaning covered by my insurance. Needless to say I will not be returning.

The office was running more than an hour and 1/2 behind schedule when I arrived for my appt. When I finally got in the chair they told me that they were only going to do a gum exam. They told me that I had early stages of periodontal and that I needed a "deep cleaning"...also known as scaling and planing. They told me it was not covered by my insurance and it would cost $400.I paid for it and had it done.(was there 4 hrs) Afterwards, they told me I needed to have it done 4 times a year. That was my red flag. I went to another dentist for a 2nd opinion and he told me that my gums were fine and I need no such thing. Like the other reviewer mentioned the staff pushed an expensive toothbrush at me...which I turned down. I thought the staff was friendly, but I was told that they work on commission and get incentives for the services they push. I was told that by the other dental office that I visited. In my opinion, commission for services has absolutely no place in the medical world.AT ALL!

This Dentist pushed services and merchadise - toothbrush for over $200 (I got same at Walmart for $79) They charged for work on 6 quardants (this was my confirming moment). I had them audited by my insurance company. They charged $1,700 for $350 in services. I do not recommend that you waste your time here.
