My daughter was seen by this dr a few years ago and she mad my daughter feel really uncomfortable. She wasn’t very professional and to this day my daughter has overwhelming feelings about the things this doctor said to her while I wasn’t in the examination room with her due to being with my younger my son in another examination room. If I new that was going to happen I would’ve never left her by herself. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone!

She was late for the appointment. She exhibited aggression trying to force a non-required vaccination. She tried to coerce my daughter to agree in private.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Mary Aspin. She spoke in a very rude tone to my daughter. She was also very defensive with me, the Mother. She was the rudest pediatrician I have ever encountered and I am currently looking for a new pediatrician. I also plan to submit a formal complaint with Administration/Management regarding some of the things she said that I felt were inappropriate for a Doctor/professional to say, especially in the company of a child!

Dr. Aspin was recommended by a friend since I was new to the area. Since day one I felt she talked down to me for asking so many questions about my son's health. What do you expect from a concerned parent? Not sure if she felt I was questioning her competence because she has been defensive with me ever since. At first I put my feelings aside for my son, but now I feel she is quick to prescribe medication for symptoms that haven't necessarily been confirmed as a specific virus or condition. Currently looking for a new pediatrician.

The one thing that bothered me about her is her inablility to listen to her patients. My son had a pre-exsisting condition in his eye. Diagnosed by his former doctor before we moved. I brought in him to Dr Aspin and she basically told me that he had been misdiagnosed by his former doctors.She stated she had never see anything like this in her many years as a doctor . She talked down to me as if I didnt know what I was talking about. She sent him home with a comment that he just had pink eye and that it would get better. I felt really bad when I left like I did something wrong and there was still no solution to my sons problem. The next day my son was still complaining about his eye. So I went to see the eye doctor without a referral. When he saw my son he was livid. He told me he was glad that I listened to my gut and brought my son in. If I would have waited any longer he could have lost his vision in the left eye. I WILL never take my kids to see her again.

Was my daughter's pediatrician for years and even as a child she noticed that the doctor repeated the same advice over and over again as though she couldn't remember who she was. Her advice was very generic and not aptient specific. She seemed attentive and sweet and caring but what she said each time indicated she wasn't really tuned in. She could not diagnose my grandson with a severe case of Exzema. A follow up to her colleague (dermatologist) indicated his disgust that it was such an obvious case of Exzema and he asked who told us it was just a rash. Her niceness is disarming so be alert to good care and advice you get here.
