Dr, Driskell is the owner of the practice I visited for a physical and pap smear in mid March. My prescriptions were called into the wrong places twice. The results for the Pap was returned insufficient sampling.

But first the staff never asked me where to call in prescriptions they just called some in and they were in Buckhead, I live in Marietta. So they recall them in to another area not near my home. I was out of blood pressure meds and I really needed them, so the Dr. that is not found in RateMds called it in to a CVS near my house. The problem, the other wrong locations has received approval to process so it showed that my medicine was already filled. I had to call my main prescription insurance company and asked them to cancel to I could refill at the location close to me. I went into the office the next day and they all looked at me like it was my error. I asked them since I am a new patient and my records had not been updated since 2010, why didn't they ask me where to call for my prescriptions. They responded "these numbers were in your files"...this is just unheard of, I have never used a Buckhead drugstore to fill my prescriptions when I live in Marietta.

So after being without my meds for almost 3 days and being on hold with my insurance people to 9pm they finally fixed it and I picked them up the next day. During my whole in office saga and asking why not ask me for my drugstore number, Dr. Driskell was standing right there and did not say a thing. It was like she didn't even care. This is not what I would do if I was the owner of a business. I would try and resolve the issue.

When I was called about my pap having no results because "it had insufficient specimen collected" . I talk to the Doctor who did the pap, who was very pleasant but just helping out 1 day a week (I was called 2 days before my appointment with Dr. Driskell that I couldn't see her I would have to see her friend, Dr. Illysa). I was told Dr. Illysa works one day a week and has 4 children. I immediately wondered how can she be focused. But she was as I say very accommodating. But when it comes to medicine, some things are expected and I expected a pap smear. I was told that they would do it over. And yes my insurance will pay BUT they will bill me the difference as they did with the first one. I felt that if you are sanctioned to do a pap smear and you don't get enough of a pap specimen, that is not the patient's fault, nor the lab. The test should be done over at no billing charge to the patient. I nor my insurance company are doctos and the test was done inadequately. I have called the office manager and received no return calls.

I would not refer anyone to Dr. Driskell's practice as she appears to not want to get involved in the care of patients using her practice and this instance it clearly is an inadequacy of the performing Doctor and it should be absorbed by the practice and redone. But things all happen for a reason and I think it was good she couldn't see me as my original Doctor because I can see how she conducts business in her practice. I only hate that I still don't have a good pap smear.

I mentioned that I have a history in my paternal family of uterine and ovarian problems.

But I have received no calls at all from Dr. Driskell or the office manager.

To make this clear the Dr. that saw me is not listed and her rating would be good because she tried to check on this for me but since she only works 1 day a week, she obviously could not influence professionalism from the Office Manager to call me to discuss the resolution.

Some people really should never talk to patients or interact at all unless they are ready to do the right thing and redoing this test and not billing my insurance company is the right thing.
