Callous and insensitive. It has been arranged that he was to go visit an elderly family member and never showed up in the hospital. Was rude when we went to visit and threatened that he may not treat his own patient. Apparently, he could just do that.

Being in health care, you would think that “care” means something.

He was my family dr for years. Use to be great. I changed several years ago after he tried pulling a cast off my sons 2 day broken wrist instead of cutting through it. He then left him without a cast no way to put it back on and unable to get into ambulatory care for days. I then paid a clinic to recast the next morning.
My elderly parents unfortunately still see him. My dad has been ill for 5+ years with chronic symptoms. We still have no firm diagnosis. Blood work prescription repeat. In hospital yet again after another 911 call. He’s been in 10 days. Blood work repeat. Although all symptoms point to Kidney and or liver failure. He refuses to order any test or call in specialist. He has very low homglobin indicative of gastric bleed. Gives him blood, levels ok for a bit then drop. Has not ordered a scope or called in the gastric specialist that my dad sees twice a year as he is prone to these bleeds. This doctor is a waste of time. I will be advocating and filing formal complaints. My advice find a dr that gives a crap.

Dr. Verster is a wonderful doctor. He has taken care of my children (one with Duchenne muscular dystrophy) and myself for many years. He has always taken time and care. Very knowledgeable. The staff is always helpful. I don't know what I would do if Shirley wasn't there. She is very caring. I would highly recommend this clinic, I do all of the time!

Very arrogant. Very impatient. So busy, it seems as if he's just trying to process as much as possible, I would say he's just in it for the money. If he sees you even for 30 seconds, he can bill health care. This doctor plays major favorites. If he likes you he's nice, or else he's completely negligent. I complained to him for 3 months that I couldn't breath - he kept telling me to lose weight. Until I ended up in emergency with a sever asthma attack. Great. Thanks - this could have been avoided with a simple inhaler. He also ignored my fathers complaints for 6 months. My father had boughts of blindness, pains in sides of his neck - Verster wouldn't even examine him. Never touched his neck, nor sent him for tests. Turns out, the arteries in my Dad's neck were 99% clogged. His blindness was mini chunks of platelets breaking off and ending up in his brain and eyes. How did we find out? Oh.. .when he had a massive stroke and ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks. Seriously!!! 6 months he told Verster about these symptoms, and this pathetic excuse of a Dr did nothing about it. Imagine the different life my Dad would be living today if Verster wasn't so incompetent. And Shirley?? Could there be a more arrogant rude staff member working at a Drs office?
