Dr. Verster very attentive and explain to clearly to patient info about health condition, prescribed medication and assure. Patient to call if there is side effects on pill prescribed. Give some advise what to do and watch. About the health condition. He has good patient manners rare to from. Other doctor. Apologetic for delays. Thank you +++for good patient care to Dr. Verster.

Dr verseter is just a pill pusher. He doesnt listen to his patients and when they speak there mind he doesn't pursue further action as needed

Dr, Verster is our fam physician. He is not perfect but is a decent physician. Very busy and so is staff. Best time for appointment is in afternoon.. With health care across Cda. Not being the greatest, we are happy to have a family doctor. There are others around here far worse. Gone are the days is sitting talking to your family physician for half an hour. I was seeing a doctor like that in Montreal before we moved here 20 years ago..

I'm writing on behalf of my husband who was sent to Dr. Verster @ Highroads Medical Clinic in Wets Kelowna to have a pigtail drain removed from his abdomen. (His regular doctor was on holidays & the drain needed to be removed)The community clinic had called ahead & spoke to Dr. Verster to advise the type of drain it was. When my husband arrived he was put in a room & Dr. Verster started pulling on the drain which created immediate pain . The nurse (& my husband)mentioned there is a tool required to release it before you can start pulling. Dr. Verster blew them off stating he has done these types of drains before & nobody told him that (yes they did). He then told my husband he had another procedure to do & moved him out of the room he was in , taped him up & told him to wait . No apologies, nothing. At this point the drain felt as though it was halfway pulled out & there was fresh blood coming out of it. My husband hightailed it out of there as he was scared at what this doctor could do. Thankfully we have a neighbor who is an RN who was able to take it out properly. I would have reported this to the Health Professions Act however my husband has terminal cancer & did not want to add to his already stressful situation.

What to say about Dr Vester; BLUNT, dismissive, loves to prescribe un necessary meds too often, & does NOT listen. Appointment is for a set time, you wait then WAIT in waiting room then another 10+ min when in for an appointment. He is RUDE, wife receptionist Shirley the same unless they BOTH like you as a patient. I transferred my Mom to another Dr who cares about his patients, this pathetic excuse for a Dr that is past his best due date sure does not. If in need of a GP in 2022, RUN TO ANOTHER Dr, anyone/place is better than HIGH ROADS Medical West Kelowna!

Dr. Verster has the worst bedside manner, and has very little compassion or caring for patients.
