Dr. Gladson is the only doctor I found that helped me. I searched for 4 years and I finally found him and was able to control my anxiety and panic attacks since I was pulled in machine at work. I went to see him monthly and drove almost 2 hours after working all night. Before I found him I wasn't able to work since no one was able to help me. Its sad that the one doctor that helps you can't see you anymore.

I was at the office when it was "raided." Doctor Gladson was treating my wife for neurological and psychiatric problems. After going through numerous doctors over the years, Dr. Gladson was the first who actually helped her. My wife happened to have an appointment at the same time the raid was occurring, and we drove right into the middle of it before I realized what was going on. The district attorney tried to get us to say Dr. Gladson was dispensing narcotics right there in the office, but it wasn't true, and we were not about to lie to please the district attorney. Dr. Gladson's office was so careful about dispensing narcotics that I thought they were being overly careful. We had to bring last months pills with us at each visit, so they could count them to make sure she wasn't taking any more than prescribed. We could not get a prescription for the next month even one day before the last one had run out. If our house burned down and we lost the meds, we would be out of luck until the 30 days was up from the last prescription. During the raid, the district attorney told Dr. Gladson that he had two choices. Either go to jail immediately and stay until his lawyer could reach a judge and get him out, or temporarily surrender his license and they would not take him to jail. The district attorney told Dr. Gladson it was a temporary formality, and he could get his license back as soon as they got it straightened out. They tricked him into handing over his license, because Dr. Gladson new he had done nothing wrong, so he trusted them. They had no intention of giving it back. They never even charged him with a crime, because he was not dispensing drugs or doing anything else his license didn't give him the right to do. They ruined a brilliant doctor for no reason, and deprived us of excellent care. I asked the district attorney that day if he had a doctor standing by to take care of all the patients who would be in big trouble health-wise if they didn't get their prescriptions refilled. Many pf the psychiatric drugs are not the kinds of drugs you can just stop cold turkey. Many anti-depressants have worse withdrawal than heroin. He told they had made no arrangements to care for the affected patients. He said, I should take my wife to the ER. The DA got his headlines, and Dr. Gladson lost his practice. Good job District Attorney!

After Dr. Gladson's Blue Ridge, GA office was raided and closed by the DEA in October 2010 and his ability to write subscriptions suspended, he decided to move to Cincinnati. In December 2010, he applied for a medical license to the Ohio Medical Board. According to the Ohio Medical Board, Dr. Gladson (and I quote) “provided false, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading information on his application for a license to practice medicine and surgery in Ohio in that he failed to disclose on his application that he had previously executed a voluntary surrender of Controlled Substances Privileges, which was itself based on the doctor’s alleged failure to comply with Federal requirements pertaining to controlled substances.” The Ohio Medical Board pounced on this, did a thorough investigation and permanently denied his application on June 13, 2012. My experience with Dr. Gladson includes him cursing and screaming, making threats and expressing a "hunch" that I need medication to my children. His website also states that he thinks that as many as 1 in 4 Americans has a psychiatric disorder that could be treated with medication! He has had three wrongful death suits brought against him in a 10 year period (you can search for yourself at http://www.fcclkjudicialsearch.org/). He is also on his 4th wife, and 3rd religion. One of the comments here mentions that he treats psychiatric patients with pain medications - this is one of the reasons that his office was raided by the DEA and FBI. It is also the likely cause of the death of a patient that resulted in a $680,000 wrongful death settlement 18 months ago.

Dr. G moved me from one drug to another for years. As it turns out, I didn't need any drugs. Now I worry about the long term effects. BTW, his office in Blue Ridge was raided in late October 2010 by the DEA and his ability to write prescriptions rescinded - last I heard and for reasons unknown. He also settled a malpractice case in 2009 for over 600K. I have other information of a personal nature that I am fearful to post.

"To those wanting more info on the raid on Dr. Gladson's office: There was a federal search warrant issued allowing authorities to search for evidence that could be tied to the illegal distribution or dispensing of a controlled substance. Twenty law enforcement officials took over the office and interviewed patients along with searching for other evidence. Dr. Gladson has relinquished his DEA license and pharmacies in Blue Ridge are no longer filling prescriptions from him, unless it is an emergency and until the patient can find a new doctor. I've also heard that Dr. Gladson is no longer practicing at Blue Ridge Psychiatric Consultants and that a new doctor has taken over the practice." Ms. G wrote in the Insiderpages.com before it was deleted.

I have been involved in Dr. Gladson's practice for over five years. Without doubt, they saved my life. After many years of misdiagnoses, they were able to provide me with the support, both counseling and medication, that changed my life and my family's. I never had any issues with billing and the office staff was always helpful. My emails and phone calls were ALWAYS answered in a timely manner. I started in the Atlanta office and drove up to Blue Ridge from Atlanta after the practice moved full time to Blue Ridge. My drive was almost two hours one way but it was worth it to have a health care partner who respected and worked with me.

A pill pusher. All he did was look at previous records for a moment. Then prescribed the same treatment. Take a pill and call me next week. Pay as you leave.
