Dr. Lee and his staff are excellent in their standard of care. They make sure you understand what is wrong with you and their recommendation of care. Those at OrthoAtlanta help me to ease my pain and calm my anxieties.

I was referred to Dr. Lee for injections by my orthapedic doctor that I had been seeing for about 6 months. This was the worst visit that I have ever had with a provider in my life. He truly deserves zero stars.

I've contacted this office multiple times to have my visit notes amended due to Dr. Lee's written falsifications about what took place at my visit.
If someone "storms out of an office" I'm positive that doesn't include a provider holding the room door open for them and sarcastically making comments. To which I didn’t respond and I continued to exit the office to the front desk.

I verbally stated that I was fine and refused treatment. However, he ironically left out his unprofessional actions in the notes.

Due to a miscommunication from my referring provider, I was under the impression that I was seeing Dr. Lee for a certain type of injection.
Dr. Lee barely completed a diagonistic exam on me and didn't review my notes (which took about him about 2 mins??) until I was in the exam room. He then stated his diagnosis, with no further explanation of what it was or the course of treatment.

A patient asking clarifying questions about recommended treatment when it vastly differs from what the initial referral was for shouldn't visibly frustrate a provider to the point where they raise their voice level and begin to speak in a condescending, abrasive and rude manner.

Due to his actions and the manner in which he was verbally engaging with me, i felt uncomfortable proceeding with any treatment from him.

The environment became extremely hostile and uncomfortable.

Continue to advocate for yourself during appointments. I found out two weeks later that I actually do have a torn labrum, in addition to my neck pain and had I gone through with treatment from Dr. Lee that day it would've thrown everything off.

Dr. Lee has been with me thru thick and thin where he is the one doctor I actually look forward to seeing including his awesome MA, Sam and office staff who seem to know my children and myself by name. Dr. Lee has a very energetic personality that may come across to others as being inpatient, lol...no he has ALWAYS been a ball of energy that comes into the room since 2014 where I've been his patient. I know this, because it was my initial impression then. I see many doctors for various medical conditions whereas Dr. Lee understands the importance of how each medical issue, the medication prescribed for it and how it relates to my chronic pain and neuropathic pain. He also is not afraid to say "no" to other prescriptions from other doctors where he will explain " very thoroughly" why. Although he specializes is pain management it amazes me how well he knows the body and even understands my other medical conditions and how even though I have different medical conditions that require different specialist I'm still a "whole" person, where he goes out of his way to acknowledge and consider this when treating me. My daughter's and I absolutely love him and his staff. People can't see pain, I suffer from it 24 hours a day, but Dr. Lee and I are on the same page where he respects my desire to be on the lowest dose tolerable understanding my body will eventually adapt where a higher dose will be required. I rather tolerate a little more pain than live life overly sedated. This is truly an awesome doctor!
