I had been patient of Dr. Zayak's since I was a child. I loved going to see him and sang his praises to everyone who would listen. Unfortunately, later in life it was discovered that I had advanced periodontal disease that, since it had not been diagnosed or treated, had cause extensive bone loss around some of my teeth. During the time this was eating away at my bone, I had been seeing Dr. Zayak on a semi regular basis and he never identified the problem or even measured my pockets. In fact, the problem was only discovered because his hygienist noticed swelling on one of my teeth and requested an xray thinking it was an abcess. As much as I love him and his amazing bedside manner, I have had to come to terms with the fact that I don't believe my periodontal issue would have been allowed to progress so much if I had seen someone who took better care to examine my gums and treat any issues.

I should also mention that the perio he referred me to seemed more concerned with giving me expensive implants than saving my natural teeth. I am very thankful that I sought a second opinion and have now had a successful bone graft and still have my natural teeth many years later.

The worst thing about this Doctor is his receptionist Carol. She is a total ****, and the rudest person I have ever met. She tried to tell me that no other dentists bill direct to the insurer. What a load of garbage. Switched dentists totally based on her conduct

He is a fantastic dentist, but as soon as he knows you have coverage the expenses go up. If he refers you to another doctor for a certain disorder, it will definately cost you big bucks. I saw someone write down that he remembers you and all of your information but that isn't true. I have been seeing him since I was a child, and I know that it all gets written down for him.

Dr. Zayak is an AMAZING dentist! He has always been on time, very attentive and extremely compassionate in his care. He always remembers your medical history and is very personable! He makes it obvious that he cares about his patients!! His support staff is equally compassionate. Dr. Zayak is very gentle in his work and is determined to keep his patients comfortable!! I have gone to Zayak for over 25 years and I cannot imagine ever having to change dentists!!!!

I have been seeing Dr Zayak since I was a child. He was so good to me as a child, I could never leave his side!! I had an accident as a teenager, and he came into the office at 6am to make sure I'd be okay, on his day off. Every time I have seen him, he has remembered who I was, my medical history without looking at my chart, and he's always been very attentive to my mouth and my medical needs!! I would send anyone to see him!
