I have hypothyroidism and high cholesterol and Dr. Bobon is my general physician. He is always kind, patient, and willing to talk with me about concerns. He educates me about issues to ensure I understand why a test is being ordered and/or medicine is prescribed. He has even taken the time to answer my questions about my mother's illness which he certainly didn't have to. My husband is a cardiac patient with many other complicating conditions including diabetes which Dr. Bobon diagnosed last year. We both use Dr. Bobon and have been very satisfied with his level of knowledge and quality of his service.

It started with MVP, which I have. Then a "heart attack" which I did not. Then severe itching on the ankles to the point of bleeding. Then carpel tunnel in both wrists at the same time. Then a loss of feeling in my upper back. Then couldn't move head all the way to the right. ALL were written off with prescriptions of this or that. He is very quick with a pen. I started to get the feeling that he thought I was either making it up or I was causing this psychologically. He never said so but his demeanor changed when his pen couldn't fix my problems. Then, one day at work, I lost my ability for speech. I ended up in the ER and the conclusion was Transaschimic Attacks (TAs) and was told to see my physician. Didn't go back to him. I found a great Neurologist who diagnosed me with Multiple Sclerosis and I'm on real medication now. If it could have been caught earlier, I would still be able to work. He only sees "horse" and never looks for the "Zebras."

Dr. Bobon has been my doctor for several years. He was in practice with a group of doctors that an ER called in to consult. He was the one of the group that I liked. He has a pleasing bedside manner and personality, and is very knowledgeable. I have a very hard to diagnosis disorder, and had seen many doctors concerning my miriad of symptoms. Dr. Bobon was the one doctor to take me seriously and he has helped me tremendously. He has been patient with the difficulty in finding the right medications. I would definitely recommend him as a personal physician.
