Dr. Rob Jones has repaired a badly damaged right shoulder two years ago and just replaced my right knee. He is an excellent surgeon and has great beside manner and compassion for his patients. I would highly recommend Impact Orthopedics should you need a great orthopedic surgeon. You will not go wrong or regret your decision to see him. His office staff is exceptional and always so friendly and helpful.

Before coming to Dr. Jones both my husband and I went to several orthopaedics are various large groups in Cary. My husband had been told there was nothing to do but replace his knees when he couldn't take the pain.. Thank goodness a friend referred him to Dr. Jones. My husband is now virtually pain free and able to play tennis and enjoy life! Similarly, he has helped me with my shoulders.

Both Dr. Jones, and his entire staff are very friendly and you can tell they really care about you. We aren't just a number...but people that they do their best to help.

He is a 45 minute drive for us but well worth the extra drive time!

Dr. Jones repaired my ACL and meniscus in 2005. He is very easy to talk to and takes his time with patients. After the surgery I was able to return to sports on schedule, but after 6 months of intense PT. I did have a few minor complications, like one of the pins used to repair the meniscus coming loose and lodging under a bursa on the side of the knee. Also, the nerve block I received has caused me very mild but permanent discomfort in the back of my foot (anesthegiologist's fault, not his). I had the ACL redone in 2008, but that was after a new injury. Before that, I was able to play basketball and soccer with no problem. At the time, I felt he was the best choice in the area to do this surgery and have no regrets (other than electing to do a nerve block -- avoid getting this if you can. Pain is temporary, but nerve damage can be permanent)
