Would never use another orthopedic surgeon. Dr Northrup described the operation and the [post op in detail during our initial discussion. I thought he was glossing over the pain and recovery time of out patient total knee replacement, Amazing result started after recovery when there was no pain and I was able to walk around the ward free of pain. Used a walker for less than 2 weeks and was back in business.

Rude and arrogant are the nicest words I can think of to describe this man. It’s his way or the highway. Refuses to listen. A know it all from day 1. “Run of bad luck” is an understatement. He needs to get over himself and concentrate on the patient and not his wallet

He did my knee surgery and was rude and zero compassion. When I called the office to speak to his PA because I was having issues they informed me that they did not take calls you had to come into the office. He is the worst.

I had surgery for compartment syndrome in my leg, which went well. However, when his PA Ernest took out my stitches, he LEFT ONE IN. this gave me major staph infection. went back to see Northrup and he sent me into emergency surgery at Flagler, stuck there for 3 days. then he stitched up my infection which was stupid mistake, and it got WORSE. He then told me he could no longer help me and sent me to see one of his colleagues. I almost lost my leg because of him and his staffs stupid mistakes. Oh, and guess whos stuck paying for every single one of the medical bills?? me. MEDICAL MALPRACTICE ANYONE?

The big problem is with his billing department. I have caught them unbundling services on multiple bills, which is fraudulent. Almost 3 years later I have received bills from him where he unbundled the services. The billing department is extremely rude. They either din't know how to bill and are unbundling by accident or trying to increase revenue by being fraudulent. Beware and watch your bills and benefit statements. My insurance company has had to interject on multiple occasions

I have been a patient of Dr. Northrups for 12 years. An extremely gifted surgeon and wouldn't trust my joint health and life to anyone else. He's very confident in his vocation which you definitely want in a surgeon especially when they can back it up!

Been a patient for many years. Would not let anyone else touch me or my family. He demands quality from his staff and hospitals he works in and very much appreciate it. Always available 24/7 when needed.
