I went in for an extremely serious complication I was having and Laura came in and completely ignored what I was telling her and instead of treating me, referred me to go work at a church... She later sent in an assistant who prescribed me eyedrops that did nothing. Do not go here.

Dr. Reilly is very helpful in explaining what is happening to you in layman terms. She wants you to feel better and to get you back on your regular schedule, health wise,, as soon as possible. It is hard to wake up one morning and find you have a change in your health. I fell, hit my head and suffered a brain bleed concussion. I was given some medicine for a seizure at the Overland Park Medical Center. When the tests came back, it was found that I did not suffer a seizure. Dr. Reilly was referred to me because of over medication given by the first neurologist. She showed me how I could get back on my feet and get better. It may just take some time and never give up no matter what age you are. She takes the time to care and listens. I will give her five stars.

What kind of doctor makes a patient cry. Like you aren't letting me drive and I am severally depressed from it because it's frustrating because I never have day time seizures. Now saying I'm pretty much not going to be healthy at age 32? Scare people much. I do NOT RECOMMEND this doctor she's a joke.

When visiting a doctor, particularly a specialist, patients should expect a minimum standard of care that should at least include a thorough examination, a complete review of one's medical history including past treatments which worked and didn't work, and a focused determination to get to the root of the problems the patient is suffering from.

In my case, none of these standards were even close to met in my nightmare visit with Dr. Reilly, where I walked in with a host of issues and she did not even examine me or ask questions, and made several mistaken assumptions regarding my medical history and lifestyle. I have severe pain issues and she seemed unconcerned with any of them, brushing off the concerns and not even addressing two which were the core reasons why I was even there - until I prodded as we were ready to leave.

She also was all over the place in her conversations with me, quickly jumping from one idea to the next, instead of methodically going through each of the issues. The fact I waited so long to even have the appointment made this miserable experience all the more frustrating.

Dr. Reilly may be wonderful in some regards, and she seemed like a nice person, but my experience was quite poor on a myriad of levels.

Dr. Reilly is one of the most caring and thorough/ knowledgable Neurologists I have ever seen. I have had M/S since 1994 and have been to a number of Neurologists in both Dallas and now KC. Dr. Reilly left no stone unturned with MRIs and XRays. She then explained them all to me in laymen terms for my own edification, and further, provided me with both a referral and an appointment with a well-respected Neurosurgeon who was local. I feel totally confident in both Specialists' assessments and after discussions, have been advised to stay under Dr. Reilly's watchful eye...and return for another MRI in June. Dr. Reilly's Office Staff have already scheduled both that and a follow-up appointment with Dr. Reilly after this MRI. I know I could not be in better hands!

I had gone from a migraine a month to a migraine every day. My previous neuro was dismissive and inactive and I was desperate - my mother said her friends in the quilters guild spoke highly of Dr. Reilly. Luckily, I am a patient with College Park Family Care or I couldn't have seen her. She never once rushed me, she listened to everything I had to say, she agreed with my theories about migraines (my insomnia was exacerbating my migraines and my migraines were exacerbating my insomnia), she confirmed research I'd done myself and gave me new material to get me better informed about my disease...in short, I left feeling more empowered, helped, and in control of my neurological health than I had in years. Dr. Reilly gave me /hope/ again. Since coming to see her, we've discovered one of the causes for my troubles (sleep apnea) and we're still looking for the rest. She won't let you continue to suffer - she is a godsend.

My primary care physician referred me. On the first visit Dr. Reilly's assessment of my neurological health indicated I did not need tests or treatment. She offered practical suggestions about how I could manage issues of importance to me and my primary care physician. I think this demonstrated her interest in me as a patient and it added value to my visit with her. I appreciated the work Dr. Reilly did on my behalf and I will return to her if I need neurological care in the future.
