I had a whole lot of respect for him until he got so many patients that the time restraints were increasing. I was told that I had too many problems and he couldn't see me anymore. Nevermind the wait to get in and then the secretary knocks on the door in 2 minutes to say other patients are waiting for their 2 minutes. Very rude receptionists. I am a workers comp patient with disability issues and mental strain over not getting proper service.

My doctor for years. Has saved my life as well as other family members. He tries his best to see everyone, so people complain he is trying to push people through. People go to him expecting a miracle and when he wants them to try medication he is a "pill pusher". He has told me many times if I need to see him he will fit me in. Some people want superman, not a doctor. One of the best out there.

Very rude,ask you a question then you try and answer and he tells you to shut up half way through,good if you want pills of any kind.

The very best!! He is a busy man but will make every effort in seeing a patient if necessary! Most of the reviews I’ve read ppl are complaining that he/mcp will only allow 1 topic per visit...that’s not the docs fault! And he will absolutely listen to all your complaints but if it’s something that needs more time, or more investigation, he will ask you to make a return appointment! He’s the absolute best and is one the hardest working physicians I know! Thanks Doc for all you do for me, my family and all your patients!! Oh! Gotta mention his staff...the absolute best! Great team guys! Thank you!!

Dr Roberts diagnosed a fast rising PSA level for me and caught a quickly developing prostate cancer. I have nothing but the highest praise for him!

Dr. Roberts is a good Dr. He of course pushes as many patients through, he has a ton, and this way, he can see almost everyone that needs to see him on any given day, without them having to wait 3-4 weeks. Of course he doesn't spend a lot of time if you don't need it! Yeah, I wish we could talk about more than one issue per visit, however, thats not on him, thats on MCP, they will only let ANY Dr bill for one thing per day per patient. He doesn't send people to see specialists? I've NEVER had a problem getting a referral to see someone else. NEVER, and once, I had a NEUROLOGIST tell me that Dr Roberts is ALWAYS right about what he thinks is wrong when he sends you to him. If you dont like him, get a new Dr, but you're NOT going to find better.

he is a pill pusher, he is never on time, he only wants to deal with one issue per visit, he does not want to refer to a specialist unless you've made 10 appointments to see him, he's always smiling though and nice but he doesn't listen to his patients. he has too many patients and he can't be the great doctor he once was years ago. sorry doctor roberts but i am switching doctors soon! :(

he is one of the best if not the best in marystown...so what? You can't get in to see another doctor there. Dr.Robert has helped many people for years and saved lives but he has also done exactly the opposite. I feel although he is knowledgeable he seems to think there is only one way, his way. He doesn't want to refer you to other doctors/specialists. He seems to want to only deal with one issue per appointment and frankly that's just not good enough! I am going to leave doctor roberts and look for a doctor elsewhere most likely in the city of St.John's. It may be a long expensive drive to get there but I feel I will receive much better treatment!
