This Doctor may be among the best in the business, but has little to no connection with the patients. I had terribly infected tonsils that needed to be removed (with referral of course) and I waited for 2 months for an appointment and I had to go to the hospital and get them removed because they had swollen to a point where I could barely breathe. I have spoken to other patients and they believe that he thinks that they are hypochondriacs. Another thing is that Cindy, the receptionist is the most rude woman that has ever spoken to me over the phone. I DO NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. He needs to go, or change his attitude. Also, I had mononucleosis (mono) and he only told me that I was stressed and that was why I was tired all of the time. Luckily a locum gave me a appt for a blood test the day before a surgery. Without those results, I could have died on the operating table from the laryngoscope. "great doctor" :(

I ended up in the emergency room on the weekend with severe tooth pain I was given antibiotics and t3s which unfortunately did nothing for me so I had to go back the next night. This time the magnificent Dr Lund was there and rather than drugging me or ignoring me as some other Drs had he gave me some clove oil to put on my teeth and gums. My pain was instantly gone I felt wonderful for the rest of the weekend until Monday morning when i could see my dentist. Thanks again Dr Lund!!!!!

A wonderful doctor yet casual speaking so you don't feel like you are even in a doctors office. Very knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease.

My mother's doctor, Dr Lund, was excellent with her and her dementia. He knew how to make her feel comfortable and she always loved seeing him. When she had to leave town, unfortunately Dr Lund wouldn't go with us! We both miss him as her doctor. (He still returns my phonecalls regarding my mother even though she is no longer his patient)

Dr. Lund is among the best doctors I have seen this past 50 years or so. He asks open-ended questions and always tries hard to diagnose issues. If he doesn't know something he will seek out answers. I highly respect the man.

We lived in Port Alberni 5 years ago and Dr. Lund was our doctor. When we moved to Sask, my husband said, "I think I'm going to miss Dr. Lund more than our friends and family!!!" I was 8 months pregnant when we left and although he doesn't do maternity patients past a certain date, he kept me on just to help with the transition of moving and also got my file ready to take with. Since my place of employment was just minutes away from his office & time was precious, his receptionist would call me a few minutes before I needed to be there, so that I wouldn't have to wait as long - muchly appreciated! All in all, Dr. Lund is a fun-loving, helpful, knowledgeable & supportive doctor! To this day, we MISS him immensely... if you ever relocate to Sask., be sure to let us know!
