Dr. Torres may not be the most punctual doctor I've ever gone to......but that may be because she takes the necessary time to spend with each patient based upon their current needs -- not a prescribed time limit dictated by insurance companies. She is a very good listener, and she will explain things to you in an easy-to-understand way. She's very knowledgeable, and when you see her during your appointment you can almost see the "wheels turning" as she carefully analyzes your situation. I've had several appointments with her, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone needing a really good endocrinologist.

I concur with previous comments. DO NOT go to this doctor. The staff is not the most professional, sometimes they wish to provide medical advise over the phone THEY ARE NOT THE DOCTOR!!! The office manager can be rude. You are calling to get advise or leave message to the doctor and the staff responds on a personal level, point is you want to speak to doctor not them about your health, they should not be interacting with patients. I have left several messages for the doctor....no answer, If you have an emergency......forget it! This doctor is also knows for being out of the office and canceling appts at the last minute, mind you it takes weeks just to reschedule. I don't take anything away from Dr Torres she is good knowing her field however she can make yo feel as your health is not important WHEN SHE DOESNT RETURN YOUR CALLS. I was a champion of hers and have referred her to other patients, but I have to say I am very disappointed in her actions and disinterest. I am now looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Torres is very nice, attentive and knowledgable but the office is so poorly run it takes weeks to get anyone on the phone, no one ever calls you back when you leave messages, you will always wait at least an hour in the waiting room when you do finally get an appointment and they mess up things all the time- such as calling in scripts to pharmacies. It's such a horribly run operation you have to seek other doctors... and it's sad because Dr Torres is a good doctor.

The staff is the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. They lose paperwork - original documents in my case, treat patients like they are bothering them by being there(everyone is treated poorly as you can see when waiting long periods to be taken care of), you can't reach them by phone and after waiting months for an appointment, they simply cancel last minute. Dr. Torres used to have her own office but now that she has joined this group, after being patient for a long time, I would never go back.

Office staff is horrendous!!!! Had a ct scan and never heard from dr Torres or office regarding results. Went to imaging center myself got copy of report and made an appt with surgeon myself. Ended up needing surgery. Surgery has been done and I still have not received a call from her or office about results.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to have someone call me back to confirm an appt. No luck. This happens everytime I need to make an appt. After 2 years I'm going somewhere else.

Saw her twice for thyroid. She spent very little time with me, maybe 5 minutes each time and not ONCE even explained my condition. She didn't even bother to physically examine my thyroid and that's why I was there! She showed little interest and left me hanging when I called about medication. Each visit cost $185, not bad, for her I mean. It must be great to get paid so much to do so little.

I never actually got to see Dr. Torres. When I arived, the office staff told me she was running "a little" behind. After waiting an hour,I realized there were still two more patients ahead of me. I infomed the office staff that this was unacceptable and I will be looking for a different doctor. Other people in the waiting room seemed to feel this was not an isolated case. Doctors need to realize that "our" time is also important and we need to enpower ourselves to let them know we will not put up with this type of unprofessional treatment.
