Dr. Ehman provided amazing care to my Grandma Joyce Robertson on her dying days.
My family is truly grateful for his compassion and gentleness.

This doctor (11years ago ) who also worked with Dr.Walker had talked me out of a c-section knowing my baby would be a big baby. He had told me I’m tough, and having a natural birth would be the best route.
Needless to say, I’m still suffering from delivering my child with never ending surgeries and issues down there. But the biggest problem I have is that he put my child’s life in danger being delivered with forceps.
Shame on both of you. Silly of me to trust men not having a clue on birthing a baby. And thanks to Sommersville I no longer have a uterus from a prolapse from forcep delivery.

Dr Ehman is simply the best!!! Took care of me before, during, and after both my pregnancies. He takes the best care of my family and we are so grateful for him and his amazing staff!!!

You cannot find a better doctor here in Nanaimo who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy with your care. Softspoken and a fantastic advocate. We are so happy to have Dr.Ehman as our childs doctor.

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Ehman. Not only is he a very knowledgeable Dr he is such a caring person. We went through a lot with a pregnancy that did not end well and he consistently called me after hours with info to make sure I wasn't left waiting for news. He makes referrals to other specialists if there is any concern. I have been through 2 pregnancies with him and have always felt like the most important patient. The new reception staff are also amazing. Stephanie the nurse who I am not sure is still there is also a bright light. I really always feel like I am receiving top notch care at this office. I haven't been to the new locations since the fire but have done phone appointments and nothing but positive. He really is a genuinely great Dr.

I don’t understand the negative comments about the staff or anything. We have felt very positive since being taken on by a dr in this clinic. I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Ehman as our Dr was unavailable. He was professional, kind, and helpful. The office staff have been wonderful and we’ve been impressed how we have been able to get appointments as needed. We have not have to wait while there and the waiting room has been calm.

Dr Ehman is pretty good. He's old school with very traditional ideas/values ...... He's so kind and patient and makes me feel good. I cannot stand the MOA Val! What a hag!! I want to leave that clinic just to avoid dealing with her! Her voice and tone are rude and condescending. She's always miserable!! She's been there forever, hates everyone and everything. She is always annoyed and sighing. For real tho... She's busy AF and probably isn't compensated well! She needs to retire tho,, get someone who doesn't hate life and can multitask

I wish doctors would give you more help to live longer not tel you that you lived a good life--- does it mean I have no right to live longer...???? If you don't ask for tests or alternative meds .......there more interested in delivering baby's not old people ---sorry that's how I feel it is at that place.....

that receptionist has to GO! she is rude and breaches confidentiality. i have put in two complaints about her thus far.

The one receptionist on the phone is rude. The phones are off at 4 pm...they just ring and ring. The wait time is usually about 45 mins to an hour, never on time. Dr. Ehman seems caring and takes time with his patients which I appreciate though and he is friendly. But booking with him you need to book at least 1 month to 2 months in advance. The waiting room is loud and busy with bright lighting.
