Dr Vasconcellos has treated my son for ADHD. Under her care, knowledge and direction, my son has now changed drastically and is excelling in school. She is board certified and has qualifications from the best programs in the country. It is a privilege to have her as my son's doctor. We are blessed to have her walking by our side during those difficult times. She is one of the most kind and carying person I know.

This was the worst appointment experience.First of all , when I made the appointment it was supposed to be for the doctor. Half way through our wait time, they informed us the doctor didnt work on Fridays and we would see the nurse practioner. I thought this was very inconciderate because I specifically asked for the Doctor since this was my first appointment .We were upset, but decided since we were already there we would see him. We were kept waiting for TWO hours and still no one came to the room .We waited so long that I literally thought they forgot about us. When I went out of the room to ask what was going on , the staff was very dry and nonapoligetic.
Finally, we decided to leave after coming from the Fl.Keys ,almost 2 and a half hours away because of this extreme wait time and lack of professionalism. Needless to say, we will not be going back. Why anyone take their child there is beyond me. It is sad to see that I am not the only one writing a bad review here.

Dr. V. I just want to thank you for taking care of my son. As a mother I am always seeking of how ways to help my children improve their quality of life. I know when I went to see you I did not want to hear what you had to say about my son. But your kindness and care made it easy for the family and we could not been happier with the results and improvements in my sons behavior. I appreciate that we always have a way to reach out to you and that my son is finally able to concentrate, wich has give him the confidence to take his school to the next level. I will forever be grateful to you.

My daughter has been going to Vasconcellos since she was 4 years old,she is an excellent doctor, but her staff is the worst ever,so rude! Especially the receptionist that answers the phone, she is so rude, she has a particular annoying voice. Its a shame because she is such a good doctor, she has to change that horrible staff. This was never like this when she worked in miami children hospital,it was so pleasant to go there.

Well I will disagree with the last rater. My daughter has been patient of Dr. Vasconcellos for many years, and she has been a blessing she is dedicated and alway speaks with the truth, my daughter was aggressive, irritable and severe speech delay. With therapies and medication she has improve tremendously. The doctor is always available when I have a question and her staff is always willing to help.

This was the absolute worst medical appointment ever. The medical assistant was rude, the doctor was late, rude, unprofessional, and talked so fast we couldn't understand her. She diagnosed our son as autistic before she even walked into the room. After several months and other appointments nobody else has given that same diagnosis. The only reason I gave her a 2 for knowledge is that SHE spent half the appointment telling us how much she knew which is why she was able to give that diagnosis. ..now proven to be incorrect. She told us to spend his college money on therapy now "because he won't need it for college anyway". When we questioned her opinion she mocked us and said, "Well maybe you can't see the difference if your older son isn't normal either. ..I don't know, I haven't looked at him." It was disgusting. Stay away.
