Dr. Cyr is gentle and pleasant - I really enjoy his personality. He is straight to the point and efficient, but had a kind demeanour about him. He is skilled and his nurses are excellent. I only took one star away from staff as I kept speaking to different people who were not always on the same page which got confusing, but the staff who worked directly alongside Dr. Cyr for the surgery were top notch. Definitely would recommend Dr. Cyr for your dental surgeon of choice.

January of 2010 he broke both my jaws to reset them. Super nice man, everything went amazing, and I had no complications at all.

Had surgery with Dr. Cyr and I have to say he may be straight to the point, but my surgery went very well and I would recommend him 100%. everything went as plan with no complications.

Run as fast as you can from this practice.
"Miscommunications" was the answer I was given for a screw up pre-surgery and let to the cancellation of my surgical appointment.....surgery which I was scheduled to have to relieve intolerable pain. No effort was mad e to fill me in between surgeries and waiting resulted in infection and a 15 pound weight loss. He took no responsibility to attend to the pain and infection - passing it on to my regular dentist.

Dr. Cyr was fantastic and I have already recommended him to others. He was extremely kind, thorough and knowledgeable. He put my very nervous son at ease and answered all of his questions. He instantly made time for us a week after the surgery when my son was suffering from dry socket. He really is an asset to the Halifax medical community and we wouldn't hesitate to to use him again. Thank you Dr. Cyr and staff!

I wish I could go back to Oct/18/2011, the day of my surgery. Also the day that my life would never be the same again. If I could go back I would run like crazy and forget about surgery. Dr Cyr has cause me great pain, suffering, depression and the lost of my career. After the surgery I woke up to a cranial fracture leaving me with optical nerve damage and facial palsy. My left eye lid did not open for 2 months and now is only partially open. I have permanent pain, numbness from the left top of my head to my upper lip. I have double vision. Because of the surgery complication resulting to cranial nerves damage, I suffer every single minute of every day. I also suffer from tinnitus and dizziness. This CAN happen to you and will happen to someone else again. My question is: are you willin to take that chance? ABSOLUTELY 100% UNACCEPTABLE. Dr Cyr you are in my thought often as wish I could sit down with you and have a good chat about what you did to me.

I did not like him. He was not a pleasant surgeon. He told me that my jaw surgery failed and had no other options or explanations.
