Dr. Cummings was my cardiologist since I was born. I truly believe if he was not my cardiologist I would not be here today. He loved hearing how I was every year and has a genuine kind way about him. He would talk about his family too and always asked how mine was every year. They don't make em like him anymore. I too have other cardiologists who just tell me issue then move on to next patient. Thank you for everything you have done for me. Dr. Cummings. Wish you a happy healthy retirement

I was with Dr. Cumming only a short time before he retired, but i found him to be absolutely what I would want and expect from a doctor. His willingness to listen, and explain things was not something you find very often these days. I very much appreciated his straightforwardness and the fact he did not sugar coat things. I always looked forward to my visits with him, especially as it got closer to his retirement as he would often taken time and tell me stories of things that had previously happened in his career. It was not uncommon for regular appointments to take more than hour. I was very sad to see him retire, especially since it seemed that he still loved doing the job. Meeting him made me regret that I chose to go into IT, instead of medicine, back in the 80's.

Doctor Cumming was my cardiologist since birth. Now that he is retired I just can not find a gem like him again. I have had two after him and they leave me feeling like I am just another patient with a heart problem. I will miss our talks, his honesty and expertise - He cared for his patients well being and it showed in so many ways. His experience and knowledge surpassed many in his field. Happy retirement. You will be missed. Thank you for your commitment and dedication . Happy retirement!

Dr. Cumming overseen my congenital cardiac history when I was 3 months old after detecting a hole in my upper chambers. At the age of 16 he referred me to the Sick Kids hospital in Toronto for surgery to correct my complex heart condition. Since then Dr. Cumming has followed up with me as my cardiologist for the past 51 years. As he is now retired my complex condition has now been taken over by the team at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto. I thank you Dr. Cumking for the life that I have led. You are my blessing and I wish you the very best with your retirement. I would not be able to write this to you without all your help. ♡♡♡♡♡

Dr. Cummings has been my cardiologist since 1974 at the age of 4 years old. He saved my life as I had two holes in my heart and an artery that was closing. I have been told by my parents that I may not have lived past the age of 8 years had I not have surgery soon. I am now 46 and still enjoying life. I have to thank dr. Cummings and his team for taking excellent care of me from childhood to present. You will be missed. Enjoy your retirement and thank you again.

Dr. Cumming saved my life when I was a infant. I would not have been blessed with a second chance at life. Thank you is the smallest way of showing him the impact he has had on my life. One of the founders of ped. Cardiology in North America. World renowed and one of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of meeting
