It doesn't matter how experienced or knowledgeable Dr. Lui is because you only see him for 30 seconds before the procedure and 2 minutes after the procedure. His PA, Patrick McGrath is cruel, uniformed and arrogant. When I asked a question about the procedure he said "How would I know. I wasn't there!" Why he was in my hospital room I don't know. He doesn't even read the charts. The office staff is almost as rude as the PA. I see from reading the other reviews that my experience is not unique. Amazing they have any patients left.

Office staff is rude and think they are doing you a favor. Patrick the PA that works for Dr Lui is very good. Dr Lui does not bother with the patients.

I was seen by PA 3 weeks ago. I was experiencing belly pain. I was told to take an expensive pro-biotics and get on a high fiber diet. Had blood work and other test. I have been waiting for the results and was told Dr Lui calls his patients back on Thursday night between 6 pm and 9 pm. Still have not heard from him.

I saw the pa Patrick who I had seen in the hospital a few months ago. I had been with another gi doc from emergent surgery and returned to dr lui after waiting for insurance issues. I've bee sick and a friend recommended him . I saw the pa Patrick who was rude to me told me i gained weight and weigh more than him which I'm sensitive about. It's from steroids and it's nothing I can control . He told me other insulting things and was intentionally nasty. His staff seems to not like him either. I don't think dr lui is aware if his behavior as he was not there.this pa is rude and mean. I left crying and would never go back. I had heard nice things about this doctor but I'll never use him. He should be aware if his staff and how they treat patients . It is a reflection on him. No one should speak to another human being like that. I'm reporting this pa to the board if health and other facilities. He is obviously a very unhappy person and should not be working in healthcare with such a mentally labile personality .

Colonoscopy June 2014...Amazed ..I believe "Life is in the details." Dr Lui , all staff and nurses were absolutely so very caring and careful!!! Their expertise shows in every detail of their work. The facility was so clean , friendly ie: ... warm blankets given before surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Lui to anyone looking for a 5 star doctor experience. I feel lucky to be his patient!

As skilled and talented as Dr. Lui is I find the offices very frustrating. I have been a patient for more than 17 years, yet when I called with stomach pain I was told the earliest appt. would be in 10 days. I have decided to goto the ER and ask for a referral. The only time I see the Dr. Is when I wake from anesthesia anyway. Enough.

Having stomach pains for 9 months. GP saw me, and OBGYN saw me and did pelvic ultra sound, finally referred to GI. Never evaluated by DR Lui (saw PA), but was sent for immediate colonoscopy and endoscopy. I have had to call for ALL of my results, only to find out that I need more tests. Office is sure someone had called me. I went for more tests and still have not heard from anyone. The $800 is only what I paid him, does not include facility fee and countless lab bills, and a newly added a anesthesia bill of $395 (which he was supposed to administer, but I still was billed)
