I just moved to the Winter Park area and my old PCP was located in Dr. Phillips so I decided to give this doctor a shot. I roughly had the same experience as the other two reviewers. I set up an appointment as a new patient for 9:15 am which I had to take time off of work for, about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I walk up to the receptionist and ask what the delay is as I had to get back to work. She informed me the the doctor wasn't even in the building and was actually at a hospital down the street because "he had a lot of patients yesterday" which doesn't make any sense to me at all. I asked her how long the wait was going to be and she literally shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn't know. I asked what the point of scheduling an appointment was if the doctor wouldn't even be in the building when the appointment took place, nor could they let me know how long it would take for him to be there, and the receptionist LITERALLY rolled her eyes as she gave out a weak apology akin to "I'm sorry you feel that way". When I asked when she was going to inform me of this instead of just having me sit in the waiting room, her reply was "I just did". She then halfheartedly offered to reschedule my appointment for the end of the following month because "that's the next time we have a slot available for new patients". Now she's either a scheduling wizard, or just completely lied to me because she never looked in her computer, or in any time of document to know if this is actually the case or not, she just blurted out that I wouldn't be able to be seen until the end of the next month. I never got a chance to actually see this doctor, because of the incompetence of his office staff with regards to scheduling patients, but even if I did get the chance, the sheer disrespect towards people's time is so abhorrent I wouldn't have gone back either way. Long story short, until this doctor fires his staff and replaces them with even halfway competent people, STAY AWAY. Take your money, your insurance, and your time to someone who actually values their patients.

I was referred to this doctor by my oncologist, I was recently diagnosed with leukemia, I made an appointment as a new patient for 9:15am. I wasn't seen until 11:30am. The front desk girl had this very nasty attitude with everybody, when I went to sign in she asked me for my insurance and ID. I was taking my wallet out and she kept tapping on the counter very annoying and rude thing to do. When I finally got called in. I went in and the medical assistant was no different than the front desk girl she was also rude, she would often roll her eyes everytime I would ask her a question. Even my husband asked her what her problem was. In which she replied nothing. After I was put in the examination room I waited another 30mins. When we finally met the doctor he would often interrupt me and like mentioned in other comments would bragged about himself. I wasn't there to hear him brag about himself. Because what he didn't know is, the my husband is the owner of a very successful security agency and we make more in a year the he will ever make in 2 years. I felt horrible having to sit thru that. I waited so long and I was only seen for less that 15minutes. Waste of my time. I left feeling horrible. I decided to change doctors. Very smart doctor, but no manners and curses a lot which I find disrespectful and unprofessional.

Well, if you choose this doctor expect to wait a long time in the waiting room and in the check-up room. His staff is rude and often innappropriate. He is very smart and will take up most of your time braging about himself. He often cut me off and told rude jokes that were hurtful to my situation. I left his office feeling worse than when I got there. Like I said he's smart but zero bed side manner.
