Dr. Oropeza is the best . I've been under his care since 2005 and would recommend him highly. Because I moved from Florida I am no longer a patient, but he said I could call him at anytime if I needed, and I have. EVERY nurse that I came into contact with at other offices for a required DOT physical Always spoke very highly of him. He is compassionate and takes the time to listen.

In my opinion he is only there for the money. On your first visit he comes off as a nice guy, caring and professional but has really bad bedside manners when you visit again. He walks in, sits at the computer and asks you what prescriptions you need. He then types them in and leaves. In a few minutes someone comes in with them as he has left and is with another patient. Never says goodbye and never asks how do you feel? How can I help you? My last visit I told him I had a couple of problems to talk to him about. He did the prescription thing and left the room (8 minute visit) When the gal came in with the prescriptions I asked is the doc coming back in to talk to me? No, he's with another patient you will have to get another appointment. This is not caring or good medical care. I'm now looking for a Dr. who cares about the patients not just the $$.

I have been going to Dr. O for 5 years now. He is an extremely compassionate, caring physician. He takes a personal interest in his patients, and you feel like he truly knows you as a whole person when you visit him. He works very hard to clear up any medical issues you might have. Sometimes you might have to wait a few minutes for him, but that is because he gives personal attention to every patient. But I have never had to wait over half an hour. The only complaint I have is that he tends to leave the room rather abruptly, and sometimes I am not finished discussing my issues. I understand though, he has other patients to see. The front desk girl, Destiny, is rather aloof and not very friendly, but she has never been rude. The nurses are friendly enough, but really the staff pales in comparison to Dr. O.

I think Oscar is a good doctor and a good person. We had ours situations. I'm a nurse and is hard to please a person with a lot of medical knowledge. As a patient I can be a little bit demanding. Because I know how the medical field works. But Oscar saw me a LWMC after a PE. This doctor save my life!! I switched from Karen Phillips to him! I will highly make a good recommendation for him. The only rude person at his office is Destiny the front desk girl. Other than that everyone is nice!!!

Best doctor I have ever seen. He is the most intelligent doctor I have ever known. His staff is unbelievable. The office manager talked to me and informed me about insurance that best suited me. The office manager went out of his way to help me with any questions or concerns I had. I felt like they were part of my family and sincerely cared about my concerns. I would recommend Dr. Oropeza to everyone.

This rating is ONLY for the STAFF. I took the time to type a synopsis of my Father's medical history, obtained records from his previous doctor, and take it all to the office to schedule a new patient appt. I was told there was a "wait list" and the office manager would review my request and call me. Two days later, I returned to the office and was told that they were going to "review the paperwork today". I asked for the papers back, intending to find another dr. I was made to wait about 10 minutes for them to locate the papers. While I cannot rate Dr. Oropeza himself, if this is any indication how the office is run, this is not the office for me. I worked in medical offices for 14 years. Patient requests should be addressed and responded to within 24 hours. An efficient staff is an essential part of a successful practice.
