09/16/13 Dr. William Roberts is a superb Gynecological Oncologist who practiced for years at Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida, over the past number of years. He is a very clinically skilled, compassionate and caring physician. After my own extensive personal research, I chose to schedule a consultation with Dr. Roberts. It was a four hour drive round trip. One of the best decisions I ever made in my life, was to trust Dr. Williams and undergo extensive cancer surgery which he performed in 2006. Dr. Roberts recently retired in June of this year. He will be tremendously missed by me and many others who he helped to cure of cancer or extend the lives of. EXCELLENT physician - a top doc in the field of women's oncology. Extremely patient-focused, takes time to answer and all questions. He was highly recommended by my gynecologist in another county. I drive over 125 miles to see this doc - it is worth it. I wouldn't even consider changing docs just because of the driving distance.

I chose Dr. Roberts for a 2nd opinion and I am so happy I did. Dr. Roberts is one of the best in the Tampa Bay area. His staff is amazing and they treat you as a person, not just another patient. My Doctor of 20 years wanted to do a procedure that consisted of removing 5 organs. Dr. Roberts was not 100% comfortable with my pathology report, therefore only doing a cone biopsy and a D & C. The staff and his Nurse Practitioner really made me feel much more comfortable by explaining to me what my regular Doctor did not. The office is so well run that if you have a 9 a.m. appt, you are being seen at 9 a.m. If you have a 1:45 p.m. appt, you are being seen at 1:45. Other offices should learn how to run their office, how to treat patients and have the expertise that Dr. William Roberts has.
