I have had my doc. for over 20 years I find him very good. He is very soft spoken but always listenes. He never rushes me. Ther have times where he has been a little short with me, but everyone has a bad day even Doctors.

We are very plesed with the services of Dr. Chapnick. We never have to wait and can always get in right away even if we call at the last minute. His staff is also very helpful. We are able to have all tests and results quickly and easily at the Gimli Hospital with NO wait times.

This exceptionally hairy, muscular, God of a Man, Had the the bed side mannor of Florence Nightengale durring my 2 month stay at the Gimli Community Heath Center. He took extra special care in mending my twisted mind when all other Doctors in the community had all but physically thrown me out of there offices. I feel that he is not only the most knowledgable Doctor in the Community of Gimli but also the Sexiest in the Interlake Region. A good Doctor is hard to find, but some times a hard Doctor is beter to stumble upon.

Nice friendly fellow but lacks a bit of medicine and heart knowlegde. Prescibe too high a dose of medication so that I needed a pacemaker. This was confirmed by the heart specialist at St.Boniface hospitital. When I mention this on my last visit with him he told me that he prescibed this medication to patients with similar EKG's. I feel sorry for those patients.

Not a good Doctor for me. Didn't like his mannerism or lack of knowledge. Always felt rushed.

Dealt with my family, and I am very unhappy with his lack of knowledge and lack of caring. Good luck being seen anytime near you appointment time. Take a good book or start a game then.

He needs to take the patients feelings and concerns about their own health into consideration. When a patient is seeing him and trying to explain what is wrong - interrupting them and assuming he knows what the patient is saying before he says it is wrong. Also if he does not know what is wrong - admit it or get some tests performed. This doctor needs to learn that people seeing him are probably already in a sensitive state of mind because they are usually not well - treating them like they are wasting his time - is not the best thing to do - considering no matter what he says during his time with the patient - he still gets a pay check and if he writes a prescription even better. My advice: Check the attitude at the hospital front door and do the job because you care about people's well being.

When I was admitted in hospital, he was the doctor on duty. Between him and the nurses, they worked on me until they had me stabilized. I wrote him a letter to commend him for his bedside manners and his caring attitude. He was in everyday to make sure and explain my concerns. I was fully satisfied with him and tried to become his patient, that is how much I felt comfortable with him. A-one in my book.

was assigned this dr in emergency. I was the only one there and it took him 2 hours to show up and whenhe did , he was very arrogant and uncaring. Would not recommend him for any animal! Should have been an accountant or in some office - not dealing w/ people.
